I'm waiting for a CGI Tom and Jerry movie. It's coming, and when it does, I will murder someone It'll be live action with Rob Schneider No way dude. Eddie Murphy will play Tom and Jerry in the movie. And Rob Schneider will play the dog guy (can't remember his name).

Why the hell would they even make this flick, let alone turn the chipmunks 'gangsta'?

I think I'm going to scream...
Tired of injustice and I'm
Tired of the schemes
The lies are disgusting
So what does it mean
Kicking me down
I got to get up
As jacked as it sounds
The whole system sucks, dammit
It's a teaser poster, so most likely they won't be appearing like throughout the movie. I'm thinking it's just a way to generate publicity, and MAYBE Alvin and the gang will be running away from people and having to dress up in a multitude of disguises. That makes sense... right?

To bad that scenerio won't happen. "Rap" is the number 1 genre of music right now, so they are cashing in on it. Even though mainstream rap today is awful. Not just musically, but it is socially irresponsible.

Rap is socially irresponsible, all music is socially irresponsible! YOU ARE SOCIALLY IRRESPONSIBLE! THIS WHOLE COUNTRY IS SOCIALLY IRRESPONSIBLE!
Ahem.
I just had to let that out.
All rock and/or roll has been cited as the same thing. Honestly, anything that has to do with art in any form could have been, and most likely was, considered socially irresponsible.
As for Alvin, Simon... Theodore. I give them some DOO. DOO. DOO-DA-DOO! and hope that my scenario is what occurs.

But yeah, this movie is gonna suck.

The theme music for that show was so annoying as well.
thus ...
P Diddy will probably re-mix a new version with a beat.

Diddy doesn't really remix though... he mostly just samples one song over another. It's a type of mix, but without really trying. :\ As for rap... love it or hate it, it's a form of expression. The Doors were rock, and they were looked down upon as being socially irresponsible. Seriously, what exists in the world today that cannot be classified as such? We can talk though PM or through it's own thread... but I'm very interested in continuing this discussion.

This sums up my thoughts on this subject. P.S. I loved Alvin and the Chipmunks growing up.

I would go see this flick if Alvin had a Morrison thing going on.
I am the Chipmunk king, and I can do anything. That'd be good stuff right there.
