Sweet merciful crap! [/Homer Simpson]
That poster has bad intentions written all over it. As entertaining as it would be to me, I do not need to hear Alvin, Simon and Theodore saying "What up, bi-otch?!"

Off topic, but the title of this thread is what my fiancee says when we are intimate before she bites my shoulder.
That is all.
You may now return your previous broadcast.

Yeah, it's one thing to do a CGI big screen movie, but making them hip rap artists screams a young exec at the Studio having way too much blow and pitching the Hipness of the street as a background for the movie. I hope this movie bombs, sucks, and bombs again.

With all due respect, you guys are acting like this is something new.
I remember people complaining about the Popeye movie ruining that character. Or even that Rocky & Bullwinkle flick from a few years back. And despite it's cult status now, the Sam Jones version of Flash Gordon was **** upon quite heavily at the time by purists.

Yes, but did you *see* either of those motion picture abortions? I understand the mindset with some of these choices to turn tv shows/cartoons into movies, but at the same time: not EVERY cartoon/series needs to be a movie either

It might have worked in the 90's when EVERY big cartoon character had a movie or a big made for TV movie, but it's just.....why now? Why of all the choices and all the old 80's/90's shows, did they have to choose the Chipmunks? Maybe I did slightly jump to conclusions, but the damn thing did make me want to scream. And Cry.

To most of the posters credit, not too many of them were around back when Popeye came out; and they probably never even saw a Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon. Yeah, it's sad. There's people that have never even HEARD of He-Man, Thunder Cats, or the Inhumanoids. Now, THAT makes me cry.
