Seriously, if you're searching for a song, it seems like all you're getting back is the song set to the animated stylings of Naruto, Wolf's Rain, and Yu-Gi-Oh GX. Sometimes it's actually not all that bad, but other times there are pages among pages of them when you're looking for a certain song.
Keep in mind, if you're not looking for a music video, and was just going to play the song in the background either way, it doesn't really matter. This is the case for me a lot of the time, but I'm just sick of looking at them.
So, is it really that bad? Or am I overreacting?

I'll support your cause for the opposite reason. I think its annoying the other way, try to find a scene from an Anime and get nothing but AMV's. I tried to find the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight where they both mutate and all that, and I literally dug through around 15 or 16 pages of vids trying to find one that wasn't an AMV.

Whats real annoying about them music vids of the shows, is that theres like, no real editing. Its just real long scenes and ripped off of other vids...

I just click on them to hear a song being played. I never watch those kinds of videos.

the only thing awesome that has ever been related to an AMV is AMV Hell 3:

If I'm seatching for a song I usually get the results of half music video, a quarter concert video, and a quarter other (personal, amv's, etc.). So it doesn't bother me.
Then again maybe it's because I'm always looking up Thriller.

What bothers me the most about AMVs is, RARELY the song actually fits the scenes being shown.....
I mean come on, think of a song that makes sense with the video!
For example, I have quite a few AMVs(but not anime, video games instead, but they still count as AMVs) planned out to the song Animal I've Become by 3 Doors Graces alone.
The list is:
God of War/GoW2
The Darkness
RE4
The Suffering series
Resistence: Fall of Man
And those all fit the song, how? Well...the lead character in each of those games have something inside them. Some(The Darkness and The Suffering) more than others(RE4, GoW, and Resistence).
