I think John Travolta has starred in mostly s*** since his comeback, so I don't really get why he can still command such a high fee. Considering he hadn't really had any big hits recently until Wild Hogs this year it makes it even more confusing.

QFMFT, what were they thinking?* *Hasn't seen it yet, but will probably feel the same way afterwards.

Yes, they were a decade ago.....but thats why. Then again, Travolta has lost so many parts because of his insistence in keeping his major salary demands..... Remember when he was THE Scientology nut in Hollywood? Seriously, I'm sure he toasts Tom Cruise for taking the heat off him. Anyone ever heard the story about Travolta and the T-shirts?

I heard this reported years back...and finally got it confirmed last year. A reason why Travolta has kept his salary demands ridiculously high is because the fact that he only wears clothes once...and throws them away. Apparently, as part of his Scientology beliefs (or maybe something else, I don't know), he has this philosophy that un-natural / artificial chemicals are BAD for the human body....like washing detergent. So Travolta wears his new T-shirts, and when they're dirty, he just throws them in the garbage or donates them to charity. Thus, he always needs alot of cash to keep this eccentricity. Rich people are eccentric. Poor people are crazy.

Just curious to see how many people think this could be a good film. It's shaping up to be a nice hit, it's done really well at my cinema this weekend. It's a genuine crowd-pleaser and is getting excellent reviews here in the UK. Yes, it's another remake being churned out, but I think this looks decent with a great cast. And it's got Walken dancing!!! It could be a good film. But Im not goin to see it. John Travolta in Drag creeps me out......
