New Coke Prives to better then floating balls Crystal pepsi Crystal Pepsi was a caffeine-free soft drink that was made by PepsiCo from 1992 to 1993 in the United States, Canada, and for a short time in Australia. In Europe, Crystal Pepsi was sold for a somewhat longer time. It is considered by some to be the company's equivalent of New Coke, as both were massive commercial failures along with Pepsi Kona. Healthy living had become a popular concept in the early 1990s, with some focus on a vague notion of purity. Accordingly, Crystal Pepsi was marketed as a "clear alternative" to normal colas, equating clearness with purity. This coincided with a trend for "clear" consumer liquids such as shampoos, soaps, and lotions. The marketing tagline for the new cola was "you've never seen a taste like this". The taste did not turn out to be much different from other colas, though; unlike many other colourless soft drinks, which usually have a lemon-lime flavor, Crystal Pepsi tasted much like original Pepsi. Snapple Snapple is a beverage company based in Rye Brook, New York that produces a variety of teas and fruit drinks which are sold in glass bottles, soda-style cans, and plastic bottles. Snapple was founded by Hyman Golden, Arnold Greenberg and Leonard Marsh in Valley Stream, New York on Long Island in 1972. The word "Snapple" is derived from a carbonated apple soda. Currently, there are four different types of Snapple: Tea (Diet and Regular,) Juice Drinks, Lemonade as well as their own brand of bottled Water. Snapple's brand slogan is "Made from the best stuff on Earth."

Snapple Wins. Last match of 1st round Coke Classic Coca-Cola is a cola (a type of carbonated soft drink) sold in stores, restaurants and vending machines in more than 200 countries. It is produced by The Coca-Cola Company, which is often referred to as simply Coca-Cola or Coke. Coke is the world's most recognizable brand, according to BusinessWeek. Originally intended as a patent medicine when it was invented in the late 19th century by John Pemberton, Coca-Cola was bought out by businessman Asa Griggs Candler, whose marketing tactics led Coke to its dominance of the world soft drink market throughout the 20th century. Although faced with criticisms of its health effects and various allegations of wrongdoing by the company, Coca-Cola has remained a popular soft drink to the present day. The company actually produces concentrate for Coca-Cola, which is then sold to various Coca-Cola bottlers throughout the world. The bottlers, who hold territorially exclusive contracts with the company, produce finished product in cans and bottles from the concentrate in combination with filtered water and sweeteners. The bottlers then sell, distribute and merchandise Coca-Cola in cans and bottles to retail stores and vending machines. Such bottlers include Coca-Cola Enterprises, which is the single largest Coca-Cola bottler in North America, Australia, Asia and Europe. The Coca-Cola Company also sells concentrate for fountain sales to major restaurants and food service distributors. Pepsi Blue Pepsi Blue was a soft drink made by PepsiCo and launched in mid-2002. It is considered by some to be the company's second equivalent of New Coke, after the much maligned Crystal Pepsi. The taste of Pepsi Blue was fruity (it resembled that of blueberries or raspberries to some, though Pepsi simply described it as "berry") and much more sugary and syrupy than regular cola; it was colored blue by means of the addition of artificial dyes. Although heavily promoted by PepsiCo (including advertisements by the pop singer Britney Spears and the bands Papa Roach and Sev), it is widely seen as a commercial flop as sales remained low.
