So which creature to you like to give ya the heebie jeebies, the hippy hippy shakes, the goose bumps etc most?
I'm goin werewolves. Sure they don't have the powers, suaveness and all that of vampires, the cache of zombies, or the everyman quality of your psychopathic murderer; but for my money on a visceral level you just can't beat a dude that turns into a wolf.
Beyond that, there's no real intellectual reason, I just like me some werewolves.

Favorite? The giant creatures or the half-human, half-something else things.
The ones that'd probably scare the piss out of me if they actually existed? Pod People.

Zombies. They are the ultimate. And not the modern, 28 Days Later style (shut up! I know they are just diseased people!), but the Romero zombie. Mass hordes of walking corpses. They trump all the other ones.

Please tell me you are talking about the Invasion of the Body Snatchers pod people and not the pod people from the horrible movie called Pod People. Anyway, to answer the question.....I have for some reason been very partial to the werewolf....I mean, if done great, you couldnt wipe the drool off my mouth quick enough.

I picked psychos, because there's a lot of people walking around out there that are just one bad day away from going off the edge.
But zombies are freaky, too... I just watched the Italian movie "Zombie" (a.k.a. "Zombi 2" and "Zombie Flesh Eaters").

The Creature from the Black Lagoon is not pleased with this poll.
However, I said werewolves. I'd say werewolves do have a sort of everyman quality. We all have moments where we lose control of ourselves (hell, the werewolf is basically just a supernatural serial killer). And Lon Chaney Jr's portrayal of the Wolf Man likened him to an alcoholic with a problem. He's got pathos, man!
The werewolf is usually just some average dude, while being a vampire gets you a 50 dollar gift-card to the frilly shirt, metrosexual namby-pamby store.
