How bout a tournaments only section? I think that's an excellent idea. People seem to like having tournaments, the mods don't like them cluttering this board, which I understand. So I think it's a great idea.

Hmm... but what if they were asked every EVERY other day? Then maybe, that will be the days the incinerator is not turned on... hmm.

Bob, why is The Simpsons total crap these days? Is it the bad writing staff, lack of ideas, the wacky/zany storylines, or a combination of everything? Or is it that they just don't care anymore?

I think it's a combination of all these factors, plus, when a show has been on the air making new episodes for 18 years, it's going to be hard to come up with good new ideas. I greatly enjoyed the Simpsons Movie though.

That's an interesting theory.Sometimes I think they know the quality of the show is off, but they also know that there's no way in hell Fox would cancel them.

Exactly, so all the ACE COMEDY could have been saved for the movie; and the B team could have gone on with the series.

I wasn't aware they had so many teams but I think you're onto something, Maybe they have a C team that infiltrated Family Guy's writers this past season, which would explain a lot!

I guess when you look at the movie relative to the recent stuff, it's great. But I myself don't watch any of the newer episodes, and I base my rating of the movie on the best of the show (seasons 3 - 7, maybe 8). Which is why I hated the movie for the most part outside of 4, maybe 5 good jokes.
