My house back home (im in college) got robbed yesterday, about 50k of jewelery, cash and such stolen. Sucks a lot, my dog was actually missing for a while, but found her way back. They must have been rookie robbers though, because they left the hammer they used to get into the house on our kitchen counter, complete with finger prints. I hope the prints lead to catch the bastards, by our neighbors report, they were 3 30-40 year old white men. Kinda freaks me out considering we live in a pretty nice neighborhood. Well this sucks a lot, and hope those assholes get caught.

When I was 4 my house was robbed while we were home. All sorts of gun waving, curse shouting, threats of kidnapping me, and trashing the house went on for about 2 hours. In their furvor, they were just throwing the furniture around. I actually had the couch tossed on top of me.
They left after two hours. My mom, step-dad, and step-dad's brother were left tied up, and I was so scared that it probably took me 10 minutes after they left to work up the nerves to crawl 3 feet to cut loose my step-dad's brother
To make everything worse, my dad informed me 2 decades later that the guys were actually quickly caught and that they were co-workers of my mom and step-dad. They knew that they had dope, and that is mainly what they were looking for.

our house got robbed some 6 months ago. the only thing they took with them was my dad`s laptop. which could have been worth something, but the thing is the laptop in over 10 years old, with an OS that´s even older. they´re lucky if they be able to give it away to anyone for free

No, but he was shot and almost died in one episode last season.
Seriously, we've never been robbed. Probably because people know that I live here, and that I wouldn't call the cops until long after I had subdued and tortured the intruder to my satisfaction.

I was robbed in 1996
They took my Genesis & the games, TV's (All of em), Video recorders, Luckily they left the tapes (All of em).
As upsetting as it was i got a Playstation and about 50 games out of it (Insurance), so it wasn't all bad.

My apartment was robbed a few years back, when I lived in a not-too-nice-area. My thoughts are with you. Even worse than being robbed, is the feeling that knowing your personal space was invaded by some scumbags

Some douches robbed me and my roommates in college a few years ago. But, we found out about it right away, and knew it had to be them who stole our stuff, so we went after them (they were about a half mile away when we realized stuff was missing) and beat the ever loving **** out of them. One of my roommates was a former 3 time NCAA Heavyweight wrestling champion. That helps.

I've never experienced a robbery but I do have a cool story involving a member of my family almost being robbed. Many years before I existed, my dad came home from the pub (I think this was where he said) to find the garage door was open and a light on downstairs. He could see somebody moving around with a gun shaped object, and saw them start to exit the house. So he snuck up behind them, grabbed their head and slammed their face into the wall twice. Turned out the guy was luckily just carrying a glue gun, not an actual firearm. The guy had a busted nose and my dad rang the police. He was well known by the police and they took him in. So that's how a member of my fmaily kicked a criminal's arse.

About 10 years ago. The rat-bastards took everything - TVs + electronics, clothes, kitchenware, biscuits, the cars, everything including f***ing bars of used soap on the bathroom sinks...and worse of all, broke all internal doors and cupboards and left muddy footprints on the floors and carpets.
We were away on holiday at the time, and came back to...nothing. Luckily they were apprehended by the police, we recovered some stuff, but it was so badly damaged that it needed to be thrown.
To this day, I thank whoever is up there, because apparently this gang of thieves had every intention to kill whoever they found in the household, and we were away.
