The "too many foreign players" argument is a bad one IMO.
England have won nothing since 1966.
Foreign players have dominated only since 1993 and the creation of the Prem.
The problem with England is with attitude and tactics.
They have a negative mindset.
Besides, screw the national team. I only care about Liverpool winning stuff.

Here's a point I don't think anyone has thought up of, though.
Spain.
One of the best Youth Development in the World (Lionel Messi, Fabregas, Torres, Raul etc)
One of the best leagues in the world in the La Liga.
Two of Europe's greatest teams (and a couple creeping up) in Europe and even the world.
Despite all of this, they have never ever won a World Cup or European Trophy.
Now, you can't say it's all to do with the Foreigners because the average La Liga team consists of mostly Spanish players. So when that happens, and you have a great system like you do, where does the finger of blame point to?
I'm just saying, as everyone else is, there's alot more to this then people think.

The Premier League does have too many foreigners yes. It isn't about being a racist because OMGZ I would rather see English players get a chance than foreign players who aren't as good. It isn't about no foreigners at all within the English game. There's no doubt that foreign players contribute to making the Premier League, in my view, the best league in the world, however there are too many. One of the problems, as has been already stated is that good English players cost too much, but there are still a lot of good English players who DON'T cost too much as well. I'm rambling on I know, but think about it like this. Curtis Davies isn't worth 10 million quid, but if everyone just ignored that pricetag and snapped up other English defenders instead, WBA may soon drop their price or see Davies flat out request a fair price/transfer. To be honest it all doesn't bother me an awful lot, because I'm from Northern Ireland, and as such all I want to see is that my own nation does well. The issue here mostly is about developing English talent, so it doesn't have the same effect on me as it would do on the majority of people in the UK. And yes, I'm criticising there are too many foreigners when I have a screen name that is shared by a foreign player in the Premiership.

Well the fact James Beattie had to go to the Championship to get a game yet Everton sign Yabuku shows they care more bout foreign.
