How about that "potent" Saints offense?

How about that "potent" Saints offense? It's NFC vs AFC. AFC just better conference. Used to be NFC they won tons superbowls in a row. But now it shifted.

God this is beautiful. Theres nothing better then watching a flukey, overrated, overhyped team getting a beat down and making all the people who are making them the "trendy pick" look like morons. As a long time Saints hater, im smiling big tonight ;D Ive said it for MONTHS now, they will be 8-8 AT BEST. There just proving my point. I know people will comeback with the OMGZ THEIR PLAYING TEH SUPER BOWL CHAMPZ!!11!!! Well a team whos a "Super Bowl Favorite" shouldnt get their ass handed to them like this when their supposed to have such an amazing offesne, against a defense that isnt worth a crap. Now that its over, 41-10, move those pretenders to the back seat and make way for THE REAL team in the NFC South....

You just described the 2006 Carolina Panthers. Well its hard to win when you have a quarterback with an injured throwing hand half the year, and a backup QB who probably couldnt have won a game against an XFL defense. Hell, the only time they won with Weinke was when they pulled him and did direct snaps to the RB's against Atlanta! If we had David Carr back there last year.....playoff team. Yeah I said it. But hey, they still managed to go 2-0 against the Saints last year. Chris Weinke is probably the only QB alive that could f*** up having a weapon like Steve Smith on his team. He couldnt even throw him a screen pass. I saw him over throw screen passes several times.

But hey, they still managed to go 2-0 against the Saints last year. They went 6-6 with Delhomme, 2-2 with Weinke. Neither QB was getting the job done. And the second win vs. New Orleans was when they already had the division and their playoff seeding locked up, and the Saints rested their starters for the majority of the game.

As I thought I remembered.
2006 Carolina Panthers went 7-6 with Jake and 1-2 with Wienke. The one win under Wienke came when Carolina threw the ball only 7 times, and direct snapped it to RB DeAngelo Williams while taking Wienke out and replacing him with an extra blocker on most possesions.
None of this even mentions the let down in Defense. 4 of those losses came when the Panthers were leading going into the 4th quarter. If the D could have held on to just one of those games, or Wienke not have sucked... the Panthers would have been playoff bound.

Yeah, my mistake, they went 1-2 with Weinke, and then Delhomme played the meaningless finale. Either way, that team was disappointing with or without Jake.

or Wienke not have sucked... Thats simply asking to much God im glad that guys gone. He's been on my s*** list for years, ever since that 1-15 season. Most people just forgot how bad he was because he didnt play for so long. Every year, I got more and more pissed when he made it out of training camp without being cut. I celebrated when they cut his ass after last season.
