The EZBoards. I remember thee.
I remember a couple of posters in particular, Beastista, EasyCompany and SmarkyMark, who used to always crack me up. I used to remember Shacmasta when he would answer old wrestling questions I had. I remember when Parrish was Wareagle. I remember when Deus and Asics would squabble over new-school and old-school wrestling. And, of course, I remember the most heelish stable ever in the WC Forums, the nBo. No-selling everything in sight. What I always found so odd is that several of them ended up being moderators over here.
Not sure if it's the nostalgia associated with it, but those days were a lot more fun to post because you didn't have to deal with somebody criticizing you for giving an opinion like it happens here. It's one thing to disagree with someone, it's something else when you come off like an arrogant elitist. There's a sizeable percentage of posters who take everything so seriously, that it's kinda made the WWE Current threads not nearly as fun as they used to be.
It was truly the golden days of the WC Forums, no question about it.

I lurked at the old board. The ALL THE THINGS THEY SAY threads were the reason I joined this incarnation of WrestleCrap.

Some of my memories from the EZBoard days:
EasyCompany's Hasselhoff avatar (See the crotch! Be the crotch!) DoubleD/Asics debates Shac's Spiderman dancing sig BigShowRulz (doodz!) nBo running amok WCF and EWT's early days
But I think my absolute favorite is when me, HMark, Latino Meat, and D formed the 4 Latino Boardsmen Order (or 4lBo for short) to combat the nBo, eventually causing the board to crash. Good times. ;D

I miss Shaqfan1 still. The hostility out of that man towards anything female was mind blowing.

Loved it. Miss it. I could keep up with everyone then. Now there are people who have 4000+ posts and I have no idea who they are or how the hell they got so many posts in such a little amount of time without me noticing them once.

I lurked at the EZboard but the never ending popups and trojans kind a put me off. Then they moved to here, I joined and have been a fixture since.

Good times. ;D We should print up old 4lBo merchandise, sell it as "retro hip!" to all the kids at Hot Topic. And I definitely agree, I miss the smaller community aspect of the old boards. I remember seeing a link to the 'Crap while I was at Penny Arcade, followed it, and joined in the late fall of 2003. If I had never joined, I never would have gotten back into wrestling, and thus into ROH.

those were the days, back when Crunchy and Obi would go ballistic and compete against each other to have themselves be the last person to respond to a thread in off topic.
Loved how DDD was super evil back then and people threatened others when a Raw thread wasnt started by Shac (or Hitman DX I think)

I didn't sign up to the old board, but I remember reading it constantly. I think I may have had an account, but never posted anything too important. I also lurked this board for a long time before deciding to contribute. I am also very happy to be here. Best message board ever.
