I have a terrible sense of direction.
I can not stress that enough.
Sooo, I'm pretty early into the game, the Edea assassination attempt.
I'm just gonna cut to the point, how in the hell do I get Zell, Selphie, and Quistis out of the damn Deling City Sewer? Every time I think I'm close, I lose my way and I've gone the wrong way to get to the ladder I think I'm supposed to be getting to, that or I end up at the wrong ladder that takes you back to Caraway's mansion.
I can't make heads or tails of most of the guides on gamefaqs mentioning of how to get out of here, they're all either too vague, or just summarize what's supposed to happen.
Annnnyyyyooonnneee remember this?
I'll love you long time.

Ride the water wheels whenever you can. You'll eventually work your way to the end.

I get lost a lot, too. I wish I could help, but I don't remember it. Glad to see you're playing it, though. Might just be my favorite Final Fantasy.

Ride the water wheels whenever you can. You'll eventually work your way to the end. Yeah, I picked up on that yesterday and thought I was going places. Had to go to work and stopped playing. Today I jumped on all of the possible ones and ended up back at that arse's mansion. Argh. *tries to summon patience*

I vaguely remember this game. But then again, I beat in several weekends by living on my strategy guide. I miss this game and part IX. I wish I could play those two again.

I contend that Tiple Triad is possibly the best side game ever.

I contend that Tiple Triad is possibly the best side game ever. I haven't even tried to play it as I suck at all things card related.

Who's junctioning Patience? ;D Zell. You should PM The Golden Spike, he's the resident FF VIII expert around here

Also, funnyish story about me and this game, it's my second time owning it, I had it once in the 8th grade, never finished it, and then the movers swiped all of my PSX/PS2 games a year or two later when we moved.
I managed to re-purchase most of the important PS2 games, and Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania: SOTN, and only a month or two ago, FFVIII finally.

I contend that Tiple Triad is possibly the best side game ever. It was an okay side project, but I couldn't figure it out. My favorite moment is the ending of the 3rd disc (only if you got Odin before this moment).

If you use the Card thing, you can get a lot of really nice cards. Get them, and winning is really not hard at all.
Especially if you nab a Bomb card right off the bat.
