Yeah I'm not a big fan of Weezy. Not a hater, but I don't get all the hype.

The man has no variation in his verses or songs or freestyles* last time i checked, no rap artist had any variation with what they produce.

Well be glad people don't group crap like Avenged Sevenfold, Fall Out Boy, or Simple Plan to rock..
oh wait they do.
God I hate Staind, Puddle of Mudd, hell any band that WWE uses in their buildup vids.
it's always about "I broke up/had a fight with my gf now i'll write a song about it"
I hate that crap.

You should definitely be more specific when you talk about it then. When you say "any rap artist" that is pretty much assumed to mean "any rap artist", and not "any rap artist, aside from these exceptions." And even so, there's quite a bit of variation in the way rap is produced/written/etc. You just gotta have the ear for it.

(and once again, im sorry if i offended you, except if you like hinder. then i could care less if i offended you.) i'll try and be more specific about my opinion from now on, im just use to saying all rap sucks, cause all i ever hear is the kind of rap that i hate. you never hear the good stuff like tupac, biggy, and n.w.a. anymore

Weezy is 10000000 years ahead of Ludacris, as well as pretty much all other commercial rappers.
He doesn't just rap about the same unoriginal shallow things, if you think he does, or that's all you've heard from him... seriously, you need to listen to more of his work.
He's not the greatest rapper alive, but i would have him in my top 5.

Lil Wayne is not the best (Jay-Z is IMO) but he's definitely top 5.

The only good rap comes from ICP. Insane Clown Posse....I used to listen to them... ...when I was hooked on meth.

Can we just outlaw ringtone rap entirely?
