I would've bought it on release day had it been released "Traditionally", no need for it to be free for me but its a nice touch.

Well if they are giving away their stuff free that would mean:
A: The album is shit. But the fans were gonna buy the album anyway regardless of content.
Or B: Massive World Tour! and the album is a promotional tool. Yeah I hope it's this one. Hope they play in Melbourne.

You couldn't PAY ME to listen to a Radiohead album. you're completely fine to have that view, different strokes for different folks, music is subjective, what one person likes another will hate and vice versa the fact that it is available free will get lots of people that think the way you do to give it a shot, which is well worth the risk IMO. This whole thing is a big slap in the face to the huge record conglomerates like UMG and Sony, they're the only ones that lose. Most bands make the bulk of their money from touring and merchandising anyway and a lot of them make even more licensing.

They totally relate to my teenage angst through their beautiful music. You wouldn't understand. You don't "get" it. You aren't as deep as I am." Get a grip.

Get a grip. i'm not going to argue with you. but "teenage angst" your point is invalid considering i'm damn near 10 years older than you. thank you. you can have your opinion. no problem. but this isnt a "radiohead sucks" thread. go make one if you dislike em so much. and maybe you'd know that theres no "teenage angst" in their albums if you'd actually open your mind and listen to them for once.. and i'm done on that. i love the fact that they're just giving a huge "f*** you" to big record labels. thats so cool

i have tried to enjoy radiohead, honestly i have. but thom yorke just indulges every single wacked out whim he has, and it gets really annoying to me. plus, i think he is really overrated as a lyricist. i will say though, i enjoyed karma police and creep is a classic.
