Definitely regional, but Johnny Damon. His saying he would " NEVER" go to the Yankees and then promptly selling out roughly 6 months later is what bothered me above all else.

The Hells Angels at Altamont they started the show as just some clean livin motorcycle enthusiasts who were hired by the Rolling Stones to work security. Then the unimaginable happened. The Angels turned on the crowd and have worked heel ever since. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altamont_Free_Concert

Zidane`s heel turn at the World Cup Final was textbook. Look like your walking away, then just headbutt the guy when he`s not paying attention. All it needed was JR screaming. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAjWi663kXc

I remember when the New England Patriots made a heel turn a few years ago. Well that one depends on where you're from. They're like certain guys from the territory days of wrestling: heel in one spot, face in another. Like how I could have watched King Kong Brody on WCCW and he was a face, and then the next hour he was on the AWA as an unstoppable heel ... until he ran into the buzzsaw known as Greg Gagne, that is ... Anyway, I would nominate Bill Gates, but he's always been a heel, hasn't he?

Ryan on "The Office" turning heel when he got promoted to work at corporate. He even grew the beard to help get across the fact that he's evil, a la Tony Schiavone. Nice. I always wondered why BJ Novak had an opening titles credit for a long time, now it is justified.

The Angels turned on the crowd and have worked heel ever since. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altamont_Free_ConcertBeing notorious drug dealers who cause shootings in the streets, selling drugs to kids, and you think a concert was when they turned heel? C'mon. The real Hells Angels wear suits. I cant remember his first name (I think Eric), but his last name was Johnson. Anyway, this American player at the World Juniors in Vancouver gave a Canadian player a VICIOUS cheap shot. There was no penalty, and he did not get suspended. From that game onwards, he got booed mercifully every time he touched the puck. When He played for St. Louis, his first game happened to be in Vancouver, and he still got his ass booed everytime he stepped on the ice! Other heel turns in hockey: Pronger leaving Edmonton, despite losing in the finals because his wife couldn't stand the weather. Comrie leaving Edmonton because he didn't like the fact the city was hockey crazy Yashin's playoff performances in Ottawa, followed by a him signing for 78 million dollars in New York (WTF). Nick Saban. Turning heel on LSU and Miami for greener pasteurs, and then shutting down SEC poon.com.

Gates donated one billion dollars to washington schools, heels don't do that. the schools are the heels they took the money and bought apple computers

He was always a face, just from Harry's view he was a heel, and since we saw everything in the books from Harry's view, Snape was a heel to us, as well. Nah, a REAL heel turn is Sweeney Todd. Benjamin Barker is the nice good guy face until he is wrongfully thrown in jail and his family goes to hell in his time spent there, and when he gets out, he takes the moniker of Sweeney Todd and murders people.

Come on, The Hells Angels aren't a criminal organization. Just because a few of their members have committed crimes in the past, doesn't mean that the club condones it. You can ask any H.A. and they will tell you the same. www.missoulian.com/specials/hellsangels/ha02.html Individual members of the motorcycle club have been convicted of crimes. So have WWE wrestlers does that mean that the WWE is a criminal organization? The club itself still exists and although the government has tried to disband it and jail their members they have not been successful.

When Robert Horry sent Steve Nash into the scorers table, the media proclaimed the Spurs at "the most hated team in America." There's your Spurs heel turn.

No, that was a swerve. Speaking of turns, how about Black Adam, the ultimate tweener?
