I still find it terrible the Dolphins are the ones that got sent over there. How did every react overall Steveweiser? Did people seem to understand the rules? ALL THE TEAMS ARE GOING TO DIFFRENT COUNTRIES. TWO A YEAR. IT WAS THE DOLPHINS TURN. I understand that Johnny. I still think it's crappy that it just happened to be that the Dolhpins were this sorry when it was their turn. It would have been better to send Indy/NE or something.

You want what is potentially the best game of the season to be jet lagged? And a crappy Dphins is just whos turn it was. Thats it. End of story. Its not like the schedulers are Nostradomus and can see how good each team is going to be. Hell, the Dolphins could at least scrap when they put that schedule together. No idea whats wrong with them right now.

I UNDERSTAND that was pre-scheduled, and that they didn't know the Dolphins would suck this bad. That doesn't change the fact that I think it's crappy that it was them that had to go to represent us. Peroid. End of story.

It's funny. Over there the people hate the idea of the winning team taking a knee and running out the clock. But over here fans are complaining about the Patriots taking every play to score. I have to agree with the English on this one. I always hated taking a knee. Even when it's the Giants. It just feels cheap. You have 3 minutes left, your leading by 3 points, so you basically just hang out on the field preventing the other team from getting a shot.

Thats the two best teams in the AFC and jet lag doesn't need to happen for that. The UK cash cow has been milked and the greedy bastards at the NFL got the green. Maybe in five years we can give them a Dallas/Philly game or something.

The only problem I have with Indy/NE going accross the pond to play is the inevitable "they lost becaue of jet lag and crappy field" card both teams fans would play, depending on who won/lost.

That game was a mess. You get cute and run the ball instead of taking the easy way out and watch your back put it on the ground and watch your team lose the game as the defense returns it to the house. It's not entertaining, but if you can win by taking a knee, you'll do it everyday of the week, twice on Sunday.
If anyone should be getting complaints, it's Cameron for burning Time Outs like nobody's business so early. He's not a good coach.

You have 3 minutes left, your leading by 3 points, so you basically just hang out on the field preventing the other team from getting a shot. Its to prevent injury as well. And no one takes a knee to the two minute warning. And if the defense doesn't like it, they have time outs.

My section certainly knew what was going on, apart from when Miami got stopped by that knee from what would have been a nailed on touchdown, nobody thought he got touched.
We knew the game was getting boring, but we understood that there were varying factors in the game being bad. It wouldn't have been a 13-10 snail crawl had the game been played in early September.
Still, most fans stayed until the end (some left after the 3rd quarter because of the rain and the need to get home, ready for work the next day), and were really happy with Miami's touchdown.

Why is there a Miami fanbase in London? Not that there wasn't a huge mix in the fans, but there seems to be a lot of people indicating that there's a large contigency of Dolphin fans in the UK.

I know man, it's just, I'm not expressing a veiw (my veiw is that I don't care, because if it's not the Panthers I just don't care about it), I'm expressing that it sucked that it worked out that the Dolphins were so sorry in the year they had to represent us. I'm sorry if I took what you said wrong (in so far as argueing vs. discussing), but I've told you before today even that I understand what you're talking about, and you still tell me the same things. I'm in a bad mood right now Johnny, so again I'm sorry if I was taking it wrong.

The Following is a transcript of what I had to say halfway through the third quarter of the Indianapolis-Carolina game.
Me: Ummmmm.........yeah, this game is over. Hey look, the London game between the Giants and Dolphins looks interesting.
*immediately changes the channel to that game*

The Dolphins were in the first Super Bowl shown in the UK, when they lost to Washington in 1983. Only Dallas and New England are more popular in the UK.

I think that was the Pats' FUTD...or was that the last one? Nah they still got nine minutes. Plenty of time to shove a TD up some more anti Patriots. Nov 25th they get the Eagles. Then in week 16 they get the Giants. If things keep up like this the Patriots will of beaten all the eastern conference teams in one season, twice for the three in their division. Right now I don't even care about the NY/Pats game. It looks like Patriots will win that one so the Giants should just let them do there thing and save there energy for the playoffs. Assuming they don't stink out after Thanksgiving.
