Surprised no one has mentioned M-Bop (or whatever, you know what I mean) by Hanson. I want to start throwing stuff through windows whenever I hear that song.

I hate Chumbawumba's I Get Knocked Down. Only because it played on the radio 2 minutes after I got my ass kicked in a fight in 7th Grade.

Ok, I won't bother to list every "flavour of the week" pop/rap/r&b/pseudo-rock song we've been force-fed in the last decade thanks to MTV and radio stations.
I have to mention Mika - "Relax, take it easy" as it brings back bittersweet memories (more bitter at the moment). One of the few songs that make me actually turn the radio off.
Speaking of (quasi) real music:
R.E.M. "I'll take the rain" (argh the videoclip with the dog...) and "All the way to Reno (You're gonna be a star). Not that I'm a fan of other R.E.M. stuff, but those two irked me the most
Manu Chao - "Bongo Bong" and "Clandestino". Ok, political music rubs me the wrong way all the time, but Manu Chao brought it to the next level with those two songs. Cheap pops...
Kelly Osbourne - "Changes". The original version by Sabbath was cheesy enough, a duet with daddy wasn't really needed. Puke inducting.
Metallica - "Nothing else matters". Metallica get sentimental... yuck! And yet it's one of the most popular songs of their catalogue. Nothing wrong with "ballads", but Fade to Black and One (and even the Unforgiven) had spine and balls... NEM not so much.
More later...

Anything by Mika or any of these supposed British 'Indie Rock' crap today (The Hoosiers, Plain White T's and stuff like that), it's all awful. Also, My Chemical Romance or bands who SCREAMMMMMREALLLYLOUDLYANDDONTSHUTUP into a microphone.
My friends think I'm some sort of anti-Christ for not liking this stuff.

Crank That- Soulja Boy Stronger- Kanye West (Way to make every prep and wigger think Kanye did this before Daft Punk) Every rap song that is currently in the top 10, based on the fact that 12-15 year old girls want it for their ringtones Which reminds me of an ever so pleasent music debate I had with a girl when I said that Pearl Jam is better than anything Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Soulja Boy have ever done. You can pretty much tell who had the more valid comebacks in this debate... Yeah well, Beethoven wrote better songs than Pearl Jam did. You're comparing apples to boxes. I could've easily lived my life without people claiming the new Britney Spears stuff is good. If you wanna like it, that's great. But don't spit on my cupcake and tell me it's frosting.

"Gone" by N*Sync was pretty good. I'll make a shocking confession: I kinda dug NSync as a guilty pleasure. *Goes into witness protection* Nickelback: Rock Star. I swear, that song is gonna make me go on a killing spree

Hey There Delilah is just about the most aggrivating song I've heard in recent memory. What's bad about that song is that I didnt mind it the first couple of times I heard it. But then it was on the radio 657 times a day....

Not a pop song, but I hate it because I find it stuck in my head frequently. The them to those damned Wonderpets. God, it actually hurts having it stuck in your head.

Thats a genre called reggaeton. Every song sounds exactly the same. I'm gonna vote for Avril Lavigne <sp> - Girlfriend. Worst song this decade easily.
