Next by Micheal Crichton. Fun but weird. Been about a year since I read the hardcover. I love Crichton though, except for Andromeda Strain, that book doesn't need to exist.

My mother brought home The House Of The Dead by Fyodor Dostoyevsky from the library for me (sp ) and I started poking through it the other day but have otherwise been electronically stimulating myself. Can anyone tell me anything about this book? I've been curious about this dude for a while now and figured I'd read one of the lesser knowns (if you could even say that) and it would provide a challenging read. Any help WC?

Finally decided to start reading Stranger in a Strange Land. It's good, but not as every Heinlein fan I've ever met pimps it to be.
Next I'll pick up Variable Star by Heinlein and Spider Robinson.
