Flash Just for the record, he can also pass through solid objects, teleport himself into parallel universes, and sometimes even travel through time. But that comes from what? You guessed it, being able to run and move fast. I'm not a mega Flash fanboy, but I do like the character. He's doesn't have extreme superpowers, and he's not ridiculously wealthy. He's just an average Joe who gained the ability to run really fast, and he uses it to help. I remember a great story in one of his issues where he said, "Superman soars over everyone. Batman hides from everyone. But I run right alongside everyone." I'm not trying to convince you to like him. I'm just explaining why so many people may like him. (I mean, that's why I like him?

The Flash races past Storm ----------------------- Next ... Arcade - Marvel: Arcade has given differing accounts of his past life, and as yet there is no evidence to substantiate any of these accounts. Apparently Arcade tells falsehoods about his past to mislead and confuse his opponents for his own amusement. Supposedly in killing his father, Arcade discovered that he had a talent and liking for murder. He therefore became an assassin, but was soon bored with killig by ordinary means, and used his great wealth to construct hidden complexes of high-tech death traps designed in the manner of an amusement park. Arcade now kills victims by trapping them within his "Murderworld" for whomever would pay the millions he charged. To Arcade, the game itself is more important than the expense or even the winning. Although a technical genius and inventor Arcade is usually a guest villain and has in fact face just about every hero in the marvel universe at some point. (Defeated Shadowcat) vs Black Cat - Marvel: Felicia Hardy is a Marvel Comics anti-hero and one-time foe and ex-girlfriend of Spider-Man. The Black Cat is a skilled and reformed cat burglar who is currently an occasional crime fighter and adventurer. Initially, the Black Cat had no superhuman abilities. It was later revealed that she had a latent mutant psionic ability to affect probability fields. This ability was activated through genetic alteration by scientists employed by the Kingpin. She has since lost these abilities and has turned to various gadgets and technology to continue her career. (Defeated Uatu) This is tricky, both are cool. I'm going to give Arcade the nod here, although either character is a good chocie to go through.

I'm going to go with the Black Cat. Arcade is OK in small doses, but doesn't work as a high caliber villain (hence why he's barely ever seen anymore).

Black Cat, It wasn't a case of what comic she was in but who was drawing her at the time

Black Cat gets my vote. On the Topic of the Flash: Storm. Flash is one of those characters I have trouble getting why he's so popular. He's got the lamest villians not named Paste-Pot Pete, and his only real power is to run fast. His powers are ridiculous, seriously, he has some of the biggest feats in comics. And his rogues, while maybe lame in power set and name, are smart, usually well written, effective, and deeper than anyone else's. The only Hero to come close is Spider-man, sadly Marvel has forgotten this recently.

Arcade.
And I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves Flash's villains. I've tried to explain their awesomeness to Spanky many a time, but I don't think he gets it. Maybe it's the names, those are kinda corny.

Maybe it's the names, those are kinda corny. Arcade is pretty awesome, I just couldn't give love here. Flash's rogues are incredible. Captain Cold is one of the most fleshed out characters in comics. Every one sees him and just goes "oh Mr. freeze knockoff" and I may have been like that once, but more so I was "whose that?" Then I read Rogue War, and did research, the dude is incredible. He has a major role in Salvation Run right now and that is awesome too. The whole deal with Flash's rogues has always seemed to be that they all are fairly under powered but they face off against this power house using their brains. Heck and most are just crooks to be crooks, not killers or psychos, they just want some free tvs.

Even though it's too late, I vote Arcade for him not being a blatant ripoff.
