I don't think it's humanly possible to watch a trailer/commercial for Rambo and not get excited.

I'm not even an action guy, but if it's John McClain or John Rambo...or Jon Lovitz, I'm constantly ready.

Not really. I'm anti-senior citizens as action heros.

Not really. I'm anti-senior citizens as action heros. But except for a few lines on his face, you cannot tell he's 61-which isn't a senior citizen BTW but I know what you're getting at

I prefer my action heroes to be senior citizens. You guys can oggle at Christian Bales hot bod all day long. Gimme some gruff, battle tested, hard assed mother smurfer. Super-models stay home.

I'm excited about it, but only because of the original trailer that Millennium Films put out (maybe to get distribution?). The teaser and trailer that Lionsgate/Weinstein put out make it look like something that's going straight to DVD. www.youtube.com/ watch?v=8M1KiXWWTxg Link split up for violence. Definitely NSFW.

Ive only seen one rambo film (pt. 2) but it was enjoyable enough, had some great action scenes (ie, playing dead to fake out the enemy helicopter pilot), and it was weird to see charles napier in a serious role (considering i hadnt heard of him until "the critic"). However, that song at the end was not needed at all (kind of killed the mood of the ending)
