I dig him now. Hated him back in the late 90's. But as music has gotten worse and worse, and bands like Good Charlotte or Panic at the Disco or Fall Out Boy or have been all over the radio and MTV, he has become way less annoying to me. The classic rock turn he has made has suited him well IMO.

I listened to him back when it was all about him and Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park was on their first album and so on. Nowadays...meh, he is still good, but I don't listen to it as much. Good to see he's grown up a bit though.
I have heard he is capable of putting on one HELL of a live show. I still remember him performing at the 99 VMA's with Aerosmith and Run DMC quite fondly. That whole show might have been the best awards show of all time.

I like some of his music. I'd rather listen to his kind of music than all the whiny emo crap allover the place these days.

I'm a big fan of his music, Devil Without a Cause, American Bad Ass and the Cocky albums are all good. Especially back in the early 2000s when he was more in the public eye.
Haven't really heard anything new from him recently.

I find it humorous that the only song of his that gets any play now is that Country Duet with Sheryl Crow. I think the same thing about that Uncle Kracker song "follow me". Although, not as much as I find Marilyn Manson fading completely into obscurity. That's simply the best. Well, aside from that whole "Music from the 60s can teach kids about rebellion" joke. Time makes fools of us all. I still don't understand what Manson did to incur the wrath of everyone on the internet.

I think he's pretty lame honestly. His music's not so great.
However, I do find his "Trashy Rocker/White Rapper" schtick to be pretty amusing.

I find him a bit more interesting than most of the cookie-cutter mainstream artists of today and I like the fact that he's a real artist who actually paid his dues and worked his way up. Having said that, I'm not a fan of his music. That's a good way to put it. I don't think his music is particularly creative or anything, nor do I like it. But he did come up the hard way, and like I said earlier, his whole white trash "gimmick" is at least amusing.
