Seahawks up 21-0. Alexander CAUGHT a TD pass, Engram's got the most receptions by a seahawk now, Burleson caught a TD, and Leroy Hill recovered a fumble and took 20 yards for a touchdown.

Giants won ;D So with the NY win the NFC playoffs are set pretty much. Looks like it will be
Cowboys Packers Seahawks Bucaneers Giants Vikings
In the AFC because the Browns lost the Titans still have a chance to get in. So next week will be very important for the Browns/Titans. Right now we have
Patriots Colts Jaguars Steelers Chargers
and either Browns or Titans getting the 6th spot, which shouldn't really matter since either will probably get knocked out in the first round. Of the two I would rather have the Browns. Just for a change.

I wish the WORST team from both conferences did the "Fumble Bowl" the day before the "Super Bowl", and make it a funny festivity.

Oh boy the Cowboys, Giants, and Patriots in the playoffs as favorites looks like it will be a LONG winter unless Indy can pull it together. Anyway, at least my team is doing their best to avoid a top draft pick unless the do the ballsiest thing ever... Trade McNabb this offseason. Yes, he looked decent today (making reads, running, avoiding tackles, no really bad throws, quickly getting rid of the ball). But, a) New Orleans defense is a joke healthy, and they were banged up today so anyone would have looked good and b) McNabb has been so inconsistent all year that there's no guarantee he keeps this up next year. However, right now McNabb's trade value won't get higher. They can't wait until after next year because his bonus money gets so out of control no one will want his contract and there's a chance he'll suck it up and noone will pay more than fifty cents on the dollar for him. However, this year, he's got value. WARING: FANTASY DRAFTING AHEAD. DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT! They can trade McNabb & either a couple picks or a scrub *cough*Kevin Curtis*cough* to Atlanta for their No. 1. Then, turn around and trade some second & third round or the Eagles first rounder (a mid-10s pick) straight up for Chad Johnson (who's unhappy in Cincy). Then draft either a top safety, LB, or OT (depending on who's the best) with Atlanta's No. 1 and get an impact TE in the Second or third, depending on what they've got, and then flush out the defense with the remainder. Even though Kolb would be the starter, with Johnson, Brown, Lewis, Avant and Baskett at WR, an impact TE & Westbrook and Hunt (who's non-use is classic Eagle's wasting talent) out of the backfield, he can't be worse than decent with that talent unless he's the next Ryan Leaf. Will that happen, no. We'll ride McNabb and Reid to another sub-par season and watch them ruin a perfectly good, young defense.

Colts are 13-2 in the toughest division in NFL history despite a ton of injuries. I look for them to repeat.

Well, you figure if the Giants run the ball like they did today, it should produce as much against a weak Patriot run defense. Just keep Eli Manning away from the gameplan as much as possible.

Oakland got pummeled and Sapp made an ass of himself, but at least Russell got some good expirience. He had a bad game which is natural to happen, but I'd rather he have it this late in the season when winning doesn't really matter. At least he got his first touchdown and he looked pretty suave out there despite everything else going wrong.
Man, McCarthy sure is a play-calling genius. Your only touchdown comes from a huge 66-yard run by Ryan Grant, so what do you do the rest of the game? Let Favre pass in brutal conditions. I was rooting for the Packers but with that kind of idiotic thinking, they deserved to give the Cowboys home-field adavantage.

Who honestly thinks the Giants are going to field their full unit next week against the Pats?
Belichick and company are probably going to go for broke against the likes of Jared Lorenzen taking snaps from Grey Ruegamer, with Guy Whimper protecting his blind-side as he hands off to Reuben Droughns and throws to Domenick Hixon. Defensively, Tom Brady will be throwing non-stop against the heavy pass rush created by Dave Tollefson, with his TE being locked down by Zak DeOssie and receivers with their head on a swivel to watch out for undrafted free agent rookie Craig Dahl.
Hopefully the scrubs play nice and don't hurt any of the Pats starters as they go into overdrive to prove a point.......to someone, I guess.

Speaking of Jamarcus Russell playing his first game, I find it funny how much was made of him, yet Matt Moore did way better in his last two games when he was undrafted and not even with us during pre-season and camp.
*This add paid for by the Matt Moore is the future of the Panthers society*

Moore actually did play well the last 2 weeks. Truth is though, Russell is the number 1 pick so attention will go to him (and he didn't do all that bad either, he threw the balls well but the recievers strayed away from the routes resulting in the picks). Honestly though, Russell wasn't there for pre-season or camp either, and if he was it was a week at the most.
