EVER SEE THE LIONS WIN A SUPERBOWL!??!?!
Sheesh, at this point I'd like to see them WIN A PLAYOFF GAME...Because I don't think I've EVERRRRRRr seen that happen.
Here's the worst part about being a woman who roots for such a crappy team -- I CANT HATE THEM!! I love them sooo much, I just want to cry for them.
Like when I hear people say how much Jon Kitna sucks, I feel SO sorry for him. But he freakin' SUCKS.
And Rod Marinelli...i would love to just hug him and thank him for his efforts.
But seriously, Fire Millen. Not Mike Martz!!!!
I love the Lions sooooo much....Please do well next year. I love you guys.
Love, A fellow Motor City Kitty.

I don't know much about football, but from my understanding, they'd have a better chance winning the World Series.

You people are so greedy. I've lived in the mighty city of Philadelphia my whole life. In the 27 1/2 years I've lived, I have NO conscious memories of even ONE of our teams winning anything.
So my reply? Since Detroit took Larry Brown from us and won the NBA title...since the Red Wings crushed the FLyers to win the Cup...I sincerely hope your Detroit Lions are found to be the ones behind the JFK assassination, the Wall Street crash of 1929 and the extinction of the dinosaurs and are disbanded and their uniforms thrown into a volcano.

Only if every other player on every other team tested positive to steroids multiple times, and they all received year-long suspensions. Thus leaving the Lions as the only team in the NFL that could field a full squad.
And even then, it's no guarantee.

I don't know much about football, but from my understanding, they'd have a better chance winning the World Series. Probably not even that...Jon Kitna on the mound, just tossing the ball on the ground. The only thing we might have good is our outfield with Calvin and Roy, but I'm sure they'll have a horrible batting average.

That would be okay with me. I love my Tigers, I used to follow the Pistons religiously when I was a basketball fan (I just kinda stopped watching) and as you can tell by my avatar I am definitely a Wings fan, but I never got into the Lions. It just seemed so ... futile. Even when the Tigers lost 120 games a few seasons ago, I still had hope that they'd improve. Never so with the Lions. I'll support the Packers or the Bears before I ever support the Lions. You can call me a traitor all you want, but that's just how it is.

I know the feeling. I'm a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and in the near 27 years of my existence, they have not won the Stanley Cup. Hell, they haven't won in 40 F***KING YEARS!!! Talk about a lost cause. Excuse me while I go sob uncontrollably for the next 45 minutes.

The Colts have shown this season that if a team has a great coach and a great GM they can find the right players to plug in when needed.

I'm a Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins fan. Steelers have had a lot of recent success. The future looks very bright for the Penguins...the Pirates the team that has more of my heart than any other of my local teams.....nearly 2 decades straight of losing baseball. The last memory of winning baseball was the Pirates clinching the NL East in 1992 when I was the tender age of 4. It sucks being a Pirates fan. I have to go cry and watch highlights of Roberto Clemente.
