Attitude Era: I don't necessarily HATE this era, it was entertaining at times, but the long-term effects (negative) are going to be felt for a number of years. Too many PPV's, too many hours of weekly television, devaluing belts, too much emphasis on shock television....no thank you. Bad, bad, bad.
Ric Flair: drew money everywhere EXCEPT the biggest stage in wrestling (WWF), and yet people think he can lace Hogan's boot from a star level. Come on.
Original ECW: spit on kayfabe, unrealistic spotfests, openly cursing (easy/cheap heat, IMO) and an audience full of smarks who would rather get their chants over than enjoy the action. We still see the effects of this today, unfortunately.
Shawn Michaels: A great worker who couldn't draw money. A prick backstage by all accounts.
Divas: I know they are targetting to the masturbating young nerds with all the emphasis on "divas", but it's annoying and has no place in wrestling.
That's enough hate for one day.

Jimmy Rave. And this isn't directed at the comment above me unless it applies, but the blind Ring of Honor hate some people have is funny. Not the ones who have watched it. If you saw it and didn't like it, then we just disagree and that's that. But while I won't ever call any of them out by name, there have been a few times on these forums that I see someone say one second "YEAH, what is with ROH? It's bland and boring! I hated it!!!!111!" and then in the next breath "Yeah, I've never watched it".

Don't really HATE them but I don't prefer Petey Williams or Chris Sabin.
Necro Butcher I think is on the top of the list.

Mr. Kennedy. I don't hate the guy & I think he's good, he's just blown out of proportion by people.
I'll admit that he's been growing on me as of late, however.

Hulk Hogan Cena 80's WWF in general
This makes me realize how little I actually hate WWE these days, I just find it dull and predictable.

- Most anything about the old ECW. Much of it to me was old men hitting each other with weapons. I also found it hilarious when the same people who loved said matches would get on a WWF/E guy about his "workrate". How much workrate is there in Sandman hitting someone with a cane 20 times?
- Rob Van Dam. I've never understood the appeal of the guy. He's awful on the mic and is nothing without his kicks and off the top rope stuff. Same with Sabu.
- CM Punk is reasonably entertaining, but NOT THAT GREAT. Not even close.
- All the HHH hate. Like, ever. The guy is nowhere near the talent-depusher that Kevin Sullivan or even Nash & Hogan were. He busts his ass in the ring, works hurt and is solid on the mic. What else do you people want?
- People who think that "pushing the Cruiserweights" will equal an instant surge in ratings. A HHH-Cena main event with no promotion and hype would outsell a London-Kendrick one 100 out of 100 times. Period. Wrestling was built on larger than life characters, not lightweights jumping off the top rope on each other. I love Cruiser action, don't get me wrong, but on the midcard only.

It doesn't make any sense. The reason it's so good is because it ISN'T on TV and it doesn't have to conform itself to fit in a TV time slot. They can have their matches the way they want to, can work their storylines the way they want to, and don't have to worry about ratings and shit. But no, because it isn't on TV that means it isn't as good as WWECW? Whatever.

Other people's opinions. (I'm only half-kidding.)
Also, American Idol (even though it's not wrestling related).

Ring of Honor is awesome. I've only been to three shows but the wrestling in those three shows blew away all of the other wrestling I've seen.
Ring of Honor on TV is a bad idea. It's great the way it is.
