Must step in to defend People's Elbow. I think the move and its name make more sense in context, which some of you might not be privy to.
The Rock was originally a face, pushed down the throats of the fans, until they responded with rocky sucks and die rocky die chants. In light of this, the face run just could not continue and Rocky became a heel and changed his name to "The Rock". The heel turn was expressly based on the people's hatred of Rock, and his hatred of them. So he called himself the "People's Champ" as a way to mock them. Not like DDP or Ahmed Johnson or anyone else who might have used this name. With Rock, it was different, it was to mock the fans that he detested.
Ditto for his "People's Elbow", a move originally designed solely for the purpose of mocking the fans. Originally, it wasn't sold as hurting any more than any other elbow. It was a comedy move, that Rock would go through such hoopla just for what was ultimately a normal elbow drop.
But the fans liked the Rock and they liked his elbow and eventually they started cheering for both. And since the People's Elbow got such a huge pop, Rock kept doing it as a face and it was silently transitioned from a comedy move to a real move.
Now I'm not saying that as a real move it isn't kind of dumb. It is. But it was born of something much better and I hate to see its once good name dragged through the mud.

How in the hell did no one mention "The One And Only" yet? It's a friggin' DESCRIPTION, not a move! Although the Fameasser isn't much better, either. It's even worse now that they called it the "Missouri Boat Ride" in TNA. I thought it was the "Missouri Bull Ride "which is at least an upgrade from "One & Only"

I always thought the "Rear Naked Choke" sounded a little gay.

Sliced Bread has to take the cake. Also anymove with a number after it, like I think there's a Tigerplex 85 or something like that. At least in No Mercy some of the moves are named like that (and no, I'm not thinking Clothesline 1-4 and things like that).
