*** Minutes Of the RAW Creative Meeting ***
Setting: After almost 30 minutes of absolute silence... a dejected Vince McMahon stands. He tries to force a half-smile to those around him, who greet him with nothing but cold, blank stares. As he understands their predicament, this does not raise his ire... rather, he puts a re-assuring hand on the shoulder of each writer. He looks to his daughter....
Vince: Well.... it's at this point in time. The lowest point RAW has ever faced that we know what we have to do....
Stephanie: But, Dad! I'm in charge of creativ-
Vince: Stephanie! I know you love your new job.. but I am the owner of this company and more importantly your father. So you just shut your mouth and do as I say!
** Steph slinks back in her chair as Vince adjusts his suit. His demeanor cools off as he takes a deep breath. The words are difficult for him to say, as he wished it would never have come to this. Yet, as he thinks over the injuries, the last-minute decisions... the spot that RAW is now in, he realizes they have but one option remaining.... and now it's time to pull the trigger **
Vince: Starting tonight on RAW..... push Shelton Benjamin.

What the hell was the deal with the broad in the front standing up and screaming through the whole card and marking out like crazy for Lashley... I wonder if she knows that it's sports entertainment...

Actually I take what I said back, it wasn't terrible. Not too bland. I got plenty of warning for the pointless Timbaland video, so I was able to watch part of the White Sox game in its stead. Lashley being the main focus tonight should have been no surprise, and he wrestled pretty good matches for what it was worth. I sort of lost interest during the Shane match, though.
That being said, I have a feeling that Im the only person who isn't a Lashley hater.

Have you guys ever played EWR? It's a wrestling booking simulator. If you would have booked last night's Raw in the game, you would receive the Road Agent note "You overused Bobby Lashley at the last show and the fans started to get sick of him."
OK, maybe this doesn't apply to the lady in the front. But I personally don't think any wrestler should ever appear in 4 matches within one night. Especially when there is no suspense and you know that wrestler is going to win every single match. The only possible exception for having a guy appear in that many matches in a single show is during a tournament.

Anyone notice that all of the divas except Torrie got little to no reaction when they were introduced? Nope. Because me, like most home viewers, either went to cook something or turned the channel. On Raw last night, I had an opportunity for about 8-10 piss breaks/food runs.

The music video...built to a battle royal...on top of a building...between "The Babyfaces" and "The Extreme Expose"...What?
Apparently, Timbaland thinks The Double E should be "The Heels" and it is "To Be Continued"?!
Did you hear Jerry's reactions after the video. It wasn't the "Oh! Puppies! Puppies! Puppies!" He said, "Well...that was...To be continued...JR?" Awesome.
Sidenote: How many flips could Paul London do after being eliminated from a battle royal on top of a building before hitting the ground?

I thought RAW last night was really good. I enjoyed it. I'm really starting to appreciate Lashley and I like the feud w/ Vince.
