haha why arent they calling the match thats weird....how they are just breaking character and talking about everything....
my favorite line
Cornette: Are we showing all the entrances on Shotgun this week? Kevin Kelly: (Laughing) I guess so Cornette: Well thanks for watching Shotgun this week folks!
other favorite. after the Rock gets in the ring and all hell breaks loose
Kevin Kelly: The last babyface always starts the fight

I always felt like the entire point of this match was to judge the reaction to a Rock face turn. We loved it.
I also fondly recall Marc Mero constantly celebrating during the match and cheering him.

I kept looking for it on TV the week it happened, but I didn't have Shotgun Sat Night or other recap shows in my region at the time. So I said meh.

That was cool it was like a bunch of smarks calling a match. I dug it. And did Marc Mero get a huge pop? And weirdly enough Bradshaw looked almost exactly like he did a JBL I almost expected him to have facial hair and long hair. Too bad my favorite tag team ever didn't win, the Headbangers.

With all the shows like Shotgun, the announcers usually do all the real commentating in post production later in the week. So they basically just had to be out there for when theres shots of the announce table on tv.
The real match calls are put in later.
I enjoyed them running from the deadly quarters!

This is great, how would one obtain a video like this, with the pre-television commentary?
And the main thing I got from this video is that Dennis Night and 8-Ball (or Skull) are responsible for The Rock's superstar popularity, his multi-million dollar movie career, and the Attitude Era boom for wrestling in general.

This demostrates that whenever people saw the Harris Brothers and Mideon were waste of money and space show them this video. But what i was marking for more than The Rock was the Headbangers.

I miss the Headbangers, and always enjoy battle royals. Great find.
Also Bradshaw pre beard, post another beard?
Did I hear someone say "damn" when Farooq came out?

And when the world was introduced to Beaver Cleavage, did you cry? Yeah well the only good part about that whole angle is that reunited the Headbangers, however after that they forgot about them until The 24/7 Hardcore Title came about and had great segments like fighting Crash in a ball pit. But what a crap angle that Beaver Cleavage angle was! I mean is there a team that had more potential than The Headbangers? Thery were like the Al Snow of the tag teams. Also people forget that they were a top tag team and won a match at Wrestlemania in a four corners match against the Can-Am Connection, New Blackjacks, and The Godwins and they held WWE Tag Team gold! They certainly were no joke(well they were but in a good way!) They were amazing I sure miss them! I wonder what Thrasher and Mosh are doing today? But Beaver Cleavage damn! I mean I did not get that all. It made me very sad! edit: I should note that I mark for the headbangers as much as Blade Braxton marks for Demolition

I forgot how insane the Rock's sideburns were back then. In fact, in the 90s long sideburns were more common than now I think.
Also, the Oddities got a helluva pop!
