Joking aside, I think there is some merit to the possibility that someone from WWE reads the boards. Consider:
When John Cena won that submission match last year, someone on the RAW thread jokingly called the move he used the STFU. Then Joey Styles started calling the move by that name.
After the Spirit Squad disbanded and Kenny came back as a singles star, we said that he should have a last name. The very next week, "Kenny Dykstra" was on our TV screens.
In a recent WWE Magazine, there was an article about the warehouse they keep old props in. One of the lines in that article was especially striking: "It was still real to me, damn it!"
Heck, I think WWE reads the WrestleCrap site too. In each issue there is a section called "Oh No He Didn't" focusing on an unusual gimmick from the promotion's past. There was an article about the strange characters from 1995. And let's not forget the "Did You Buy This?" section.

I'll bet you it's either me, or our newest member, CliveOwen62. Has anyone asked him why Snitsky wasn't the villian in Children of Men? OMG! That is sooooooooooooo funny

Didn't they steal Ron Simmons' cameo of just saying a random cuss word from that thing called Woo's the Boss?
Also, if WWE reads this...CHRIS MASTERS IN A SOMBRERO! PLEASE! I will spend my next paycheck on all WWE merchandise/DVD's if you once just give us Masters in a Sombrero.

There was a period when there were a surprising amount of Wrestlecrap making "cameos" on air (Booker talking about Ready 2 Rumble, Eugene mentioning Dr. Isaac Yankem...)
