Wow 10,000 a show? Angle must be making a mint If I am understanding that right, that is his TNA negotiated Indy booking fee and he hasn't had a single Indy appearance that I know of. I think he got 10,000 for each show in Japan.

Angle must have the best agent ever to get that much per appearance

Yeah but, I don't those are Indy bookings. Plus I think it went up thanks to those appearances. EDIT: Angle must have the best agent ever to get that much per appearance I think TNA sets that price.

Ok, normally I don't question news sources too much. I can understand a certain bias and I can understand things change. But this is either smark bait or TNA should be dead right now.

I really doubt this is true. I pick on TNA a lot...A LOT (just ask I Got Heat), but even I don't think the people in charge of TNA are this stupid. I would love to see the reaction in my opinion. Tenay: *Mickie Mouse Voice* I...I can't believe it! How could they not like the Prison Yard Match!! West: THIS IS UN-FRICKIN-BELIEVABLE!! Cornette: [Censor] this [Censor] [Censor]!! [Censor]! I hate this kind of [Censor]! [Censor]! [Cennnnnnnnnnnnnnsor]!!! West: I would love to see them tell me this to my face. RIGHT IN MY FACE!! The prision yard match was one of the the best matches on the card...

Ok...
I buy the thing about Jarrett saying the X-Division should be "like a video game". It just shows such a lack of understanding of the way the modern industry works, and, hopefully, someone with some clout stands up and sets the record straight.
I also buy Angle making that much for an indy booking.
I DON'T buy the stuff about them saying "It's just people on the WWE payroll saying we suck" (I couldn't begin to comprehend that level of idiocy if it were true; Cornette and Tenay, at least, wouldn't be that dumb), and I'm really not sure I buy the Low Ki excuse for not putting him in LAX. Considering that AJ works main events, that REALLY doesn't make any sense.

The prision yard match was one of the the best matches on the card... I'm willing to agree with you, even if it was a too little gimmicky for some people's tastes. Of course, after the last PPV, I don't look at the Prison Yard Match as that "over-the-top" now. I just wrote the first match that popped into my mind...it was an added bonus for it to have a gimmick to it. So I digress to this... ~~~ I guess you just attacked my point. Tenay: His point has been attacked! But I can willingly except criticism. West: WOW! What respect! Tenay: Amazing! He is excepting criticism! Thank you for your repsonse. West: UN-FRICKEN-BELIEVABLE! No confrontation! Just a comment on the comments of the...other guy. Tenay: He said "Thank you!" Did you ever think he'd say "Thank you?" West: Not in a million Peles!...I mean Years. Guys...Stop it. You don't need to interrupt everything I say with your own babble... Tenay: I knew this wouldn't last long! Look at how quick he resorts to his old self! West: His credibility is just gone! This isn't Gem Mint 10! ... ... West: What do we do if he doesn't talk? ... ... Tenay: PPV talk? I hate you guys.

This sounds like mostly made up mark rubbish. I highly doubt that the meetting section is true at all as it just sounds like someone using the stereotype responses rather than real one's.

I don't know how many people remember but there was a Heyman interview around the time ECW first came back where he talked about TNA. Basically he said since TNA guys do all those indy bookings they're not really "branded" as "TNA guys" which hurts the company overall, and that they should work on making everyone "their guys" so no matter where they go later they are always "TNA" the same way old ECW guys are still looked at as ECW. Kurt Angle, of all their guys, definitely needs to be associated with TNA as much as possible and taking indy bookings would hurt that and probably be a pretty bad idea overall considering the shape his body is in. So by charging 10 grand he has priced himself out of the market except for the "I'd be stupid NOT to do that" shows, which is actually really smart all things considered.

- Konnan was told for the last time that Senshi cannot join LAX. They said the main reason is because they don't think he can work a non X Division/Main event style. Question. Isn't Homicide smaller than Low Ki? If AJ Styles can be main event, Ki can be. Fudge. Homicide is also totally awesome and can work any type of match with any opponent. Sorry Ki isnt even in his league imo.

I must say I have criticized TNA in the past and I want to make it clear that I'm not on WWE's payroll.

Good.
Now the booking in TNA moment is horrible.

Though it's probably his booking fee for indy's, $10,000 sounds about right as to how much Angle earns per week at TNA (if not more). My question is, how the heck does TNA make that money per week? Nothing from the gate + 1.0 rating on a network they don't own << $10,000
I'm skeptical of the conversation... But given the direction TNA has been going the past few months, I inclined to think TNA creative is in the mistaken belief that they can dictate what the fans want. Coincidentally... This is one of the same mistakes WCW made in its dying years.
The rest, ugh. If any of it is true, then it only proves new leadership is needed. Otherwise TNA will be dead within a year or so.

There have been a ton of live reports from the iMPACT Zone where performers would play little tricks on the crowd to get them riled up. It's just sad that they have to DO THAT to get reactions for some guys. *blink* Remember when everyone damn near got a reaction? Those were the days

The whole idea that Low-Ki can't work in the main event is idiotic. Ki might be one of the best workers in wrestling today. Yes he does alot of kicks and strikes but that makes him look possible to be in the main event. So let me get this right Homicide can be while Ki can't? That makes no sense if anything Ki looks more like a main eventer than Homicide. Maybe it's mic skills? Well Homicide hasn't said anything since being in TNA so that can't be it. Is it because he's small? Or what I don't get it? Really f*** TNA! I am just waiting for a decent promotion to spring up not this piece of shit!
To paraphrase Warrior: "Using wrestlers up workers dosen't make the world work!"

Assuming all the numbers in this article are correct, the problem with Angle is that his TNA contract has bound to be a HUGE amount of money if that's his TNA-negotiatied booking fee for indies. His actual contract has bound to be worth a mint--probably more than TNA can afford over a long period (if the article is indeed factual).

Also, don't forget that there was a time in early TNA when Ki threatened for the NWA Title (see: a pic of Ki holding the title in the ring), along with AJ. He never won it, but that's besides the point.
So, again, I don't really buy the argument, or that NEWZ post, really.
