Why was his theme the graduation music? When you think back now, the song and the wrestler are virtually inseparable. But it really never fit, he was a wild and crazy wrestler, why the hell was his theme music a graduation song that was more fit for his brother The Genius Lanny Poffo....who wore the cap & gown, but didn't have the proper music!
Never made sense to me.

I guess because the song was called Pomp & Circumstance, in which it was supposed to make Savage look like some sort of narcissist. Thats about all I could come up with, sorry

It's exceptional music... the Bulldogs, IIRC, used part of it too.

I like orchestral sounding music. It was a keen tune. Really made him look pompous and arrogant, n' such.

Also, musically it's far, far better than 99.999 of the music used in wrestling.

Yep, the tune is Pomp and Circumstance (the extended version of it is even better), but I'm having a brain fart on who the composer is at the moment.
Seeing as how I have absolutely no respect or love for my college, when I graduate in May, I fully intend to show up with a brightly colored cowboy hat, my aviator sunglasses, a fake beard and mustache, and tassles coming off my sleeves, all the while listening the graduation speeches and inserting random observations (all at varying levels of volume) like "Diplomaaaaas, yeah, MORTOR BOARDS AND TASSLES, yeah, GRADUATION, RUNNIN' WILD, OOOOOOH YEAH, DIGGIT! SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM, BRUDDAH!"
Then I'll give the school president the Flying Elbow Drop.

^ I don't think he has concrete boobs, so he might not have that much to worry about. Lol I just had an idea that Macho should be put in DX to feud to with Steph. I'm sure he'd have two words for her.

Savage was probably the only sports entertainer to use the same music in both the WWF and WCW.

^^^ He WCW theme was remixed and had him going OH YEAH!!!! In the begining. The British Bulldog did also. When he left WWE after the screw job. He had the same theme as he did in the WWE.
Booker T had the same theme for years. Just changed to begining a couple times.
