I've always imagined him as the lead guy in a Samoan thug stable. Jamal and Rosey would be there too, and Rikishi would be their non-wrestling manager. Put Joe in a FUBU jacket and a pair of shades, some bling around the neck, and there you go. I would actually like that a lot.

I'm almost positive he'll go eventually. I mean, the way his knee is banged up, he needs surgery. That costs money. WWE offers money. He may be able to hold off for a while, but he'll go there.

If he was actually allowed to be Samoa Joe and given a main event push...Yes, but it'd be a travesty to see him turned into a stupid cartoon character with 5 moves though... *coughumagacough*

Are you saying that Jamal has the same ability as Joe?

Umaga is a better worker than Joe IMO, Umaga is a solid performer with in ring charisma that is better than Joe's. Hell with the gimmick it forces Jamal to work 10x harder and be 10x more violent than being a regular samoan dude, it allows him the freedom to work stiff and wild. I hate this.. LOLZ @ Umaga he sux...type of thinking without watching his matches. joe's got 5 moves of doom in ROH and TNA dude, the Powerbomb->Boston Crab->STF, the Front Dropkick, Snap Powerslam, Face Wash, Muscle Buster/Sleeper Hold. That's the five main spots he is sure to get in every match of his...

Yeah not many people have a great deal of moves we would call signature, what counts just as much is what you do in the filler, you have to keep the person watching entertained whether you be a face or a heel the entire match especially on tv as the viewer can simply just change the channel. A good example of this would be Randy Orton's chinlocks or is this considered a sginature move of his now?! J/K I feel Umaga is good at this but it really does take two to tango, there aren't many wrestler's who can carry a crapty guy to a decent match all by themselves after all!

Would ruin all of Joe's credibility, because the first thing he would be booked for is to finally squash Umaga, that hang around the bottom card for a while.

why would a smaller fat guy beat a bigger fat guy?

I never said Umaga is not a good wrestler. I actually think he's really good, I just hate his stupid gimmick. It's straight out of 1994, and man, I was kinda hoping we could have grown out of that phase by now.
And honestly, yeah I would love to see him get the Warrior/Goldberg type push. If anyone could pull it off well and be believeable, it would probably be Joe. I think the WWE marks would go crazy for him if he was allowed to wrestle his style and slowly built up as this unbeatable wrestler's wrestler. He'd be like Lashely, but you know, actually entertaining.

Eh, I don't see Samoa Joe getting a big push initially because I don't think McMahon wants to put a TNA guy immediately into main events on RAW or SmackDown because he doesn't want to acknowledge TNA as a legitimate threat. I mean look at it, they've never mentioned TNA on-air, it's the WCW denial that they were in 'till the nWo came out and WCW almost put the WWF out of business.

He's a big angry guy who yells in Samoan, paints his face, and has Samoa tatoo'd across his belly. but he goes in there and kicks ass. the fact you'd want Joe to have a Goldberg/Warrior like push is pure IWC bologna, that leads to people hating joe...

Anyway, the topic was about if we wanted to see Joe in WWE, and in my oppinion that's the only way I'd want to see him there. I think he's a really talented wrestler who deserves to be a main part of whatever promotion he's in. OMG I'M AN INTERNET MARK NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Or that's just my own personal oppinion, but you know, it happens

why can't he quietly creep into the main event though?
why does he have to be main event?
can't he be a solid mid-carder?
those guys are way needed in wrestling the Hardyz, finlay, and others are midcard for life and that's really no big deal

I'm not saying he has to be world champ at day one, far from it. I actually agree that it should be slow, have him tear through the low/mid-carders for about a year and then give him the MitB for the main event push. What I am saying though, is that I'd hate to see him get the Umaga treatment as in: get pushed hard for 6 months only to be used to put other guys over.
And he doesn't necissarly have to be the unbeatable monster either. One of the things I think Joe does really well is make it look like his opponents have a chance of winning, he actually shows vulnerablity from time to time. And yeah, once he's in that main event spot I'd be OK if he started to lose when it made sense.
Basically I'd just hate to see him get squashed by the Cena's/Batista's of the WWE. So realisticly, I'd never want to see him in WWE.

I personally Just want Joe/Umaga to happen and for Umaga to go over using the Superfly Splash.
Really, I think those 2 have what it takes to put on one of the best matches in this current generation of superstars.
Really how often do we have 2 big guys that move like Joe and umaga?
