Austin had a VERY good reason to walk out on the company. They wanted him to job to Brock Lesnar, in a tournament-style match that had no build-up, and no hype surrounding it. Austin has no problem jobbing to ANYBODY, but he does have a problem when it isn't booked or advertised correctly. But that wasn't the only reason; he was frustrated with the Creative Team (going so far as to call the writing "piss-poor"), and he was frustrated because his body was giving out on him, and he was afraid to admit that he may not be able to compete anymore. And when you consider that the guy they wanted him to job to walked out on the company a couple years later, I don't blame Austin at all. And when it comes to Hogan/Austin, I mark out for Hogan, but when it comes down to it, who's the better in-ring performer? Honestly?
Furthermore, Debra's case against Austin was thrown out, because she had no bruises or marks to prove that he had hit her. Austin's been married a couple times; if he was a wife-beater, I think we'd have heard about it before now.
Yeah, you're damn right they're gonna advertise the hell out of Austin on ECW, because he just may possibly be the most entertaining thing on the show. I'm not knocking anybody on the roster, but let's face it - with only a one-hour program that has a considerable chunk dedicated to the ongoing Trump/McMahon saga, a WWE Legend, and some stupid b*tch with two first names that can't dance, you think they're going to be able to put on some quality matches? Five minutes does not equal five-stars, if you catch my drift. I mean, if they're gonna bastardize ECW by stripping it of anything that could be considered "Extreme", they could at least give the guys time to actually...you know, WRESTLE.

Thinks to self: (Please don't turn into another Hogan/Austin debate. Please Please! If anything turn into a Thorn/Austin debate. Yeah, Thorn and Austin...penguins. I should study. Monkeys learn sign language to tell dolphins "I love you."...yeah....turnips.)

I agree, no mention of Lashley is guaranteed to improve the ratings! *Does the swerve dance while dancing away from the post* Swerve? SWERVE! YOU WIN THIS ROUND, BUT I'LL BE BACK! I'LL BE BAAAAAAAAACK!

So your boss tells you to do something that you don't agree with, you're just gonna walk out without any notice when they've invested time and money into you? Austin has no problem jobbing to ANYBODY? So what happened when they wanted him to job to Coachman about a year and a half ago? Bye Bye Austin, once again. Who's the better in-ring performer? I'd say they're on the same level. I don't remember Austin being Mr. Workrate. Furthermore....who even mentioned Debra? How are you not knocking anyone when you just said some guy who's gonna walk out, say the same thing he's been saying for the last 7 years, and drink some beer is going to be more entertaining than guys who are gonna work actual matches? The length of a match has nothing to do with the quality. Five minutes can equal five stars if it's done right. At the same time, 60 minutes can be a boring piece of crap if it's done wrong.

Tonight...
--Snitsky randomly kicks Joey Styles.
--According to sources, Steve Austin might just appear.
--Kevin Thorn may announce what clubs he has recently been visiting.
--CM Punk may let his emotions loose as he explains his "addiction."
--Austin will stunner something.
--Striker will not teach, cause he is a disgraced school teacher.
--Did we mention Austin?
--Burke Vs. RVD! The Future against the Future from ten years ago!
