Yeah like the one in Las Vegas. If NWA title goes indies now compared to how it went well 14 years ago...I think it'd be more respected especially with the growth of the internet and the indy scene being as big as it is today. TNA needs the belt more than NWA needs TNA. I give TNA a lot of grief, but I don't think this is true. TNA will do just fine without the NWA belts now. They've firmly established themselves as the number two promotion in America. People aren't going to stop watching just because their champs are TNA champs rather than NWA champs.

I love the NWA Tag titles though those are the belts that TNA should keep the same design for.

I can see it now on Impact... Tenay: Jeff Jarrett has customized the TNA World title! West: It is in the shape of a guitar! UN-Fricken-BELIEVABLE! Tenay: It has little strings and everything! West: No Way! No way! NOOOOOO WAAAAAAAY! Then that rvdtito4life dude on YouTube gets all biased as hell and tries to act like its a good thing, then tries to act like an hour long match on RAW wasnt a good thing at all. I swear them guys are annoying. Anyway, it be cool if TNA got a new X-Divison Title too...

I swear them guys are annoying. Despite a boycott on them for about a month or two, I made the mistake of watching their latest video. Apparently the Michaels/Cena match wasn't really that good and had too many rest holds... Add that with their "TNA Experience video" I've confirmed their bias and will not return. They don't deserve the views. I don't deserve putting up with proproganda.

^Yeah I aint trying to turn this into a topic bout them but I just wanted to say. I KNOW if TNA woulda done something like that (even though they cant since they only got like 10 mins of wrestling a show), then them guys would be going on and on about how TNA knew the match on PPV wasnt as good as it coulda been and they were just trying to give back to the fans. But when WWE does it, its stupid and the fans are cheated or whatever...

Forget spinny belts, TNA will have a SPINEY belt. Yep, the TNA World Title will have spines all over it to keep people from stealing it.

To be honest I doubt the crowd will care whether or not the belts are TNA or NWA. A belt switch won't change anything, for better or worse.

All the belt switch will mean is that Bryan Danielson will be the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion

WCW didn't miss a beat when they dropped their NWA ties...neither will TNA. I am interested how the NWA will handle their belt on the indy scene. I hope they don't F up.

This way, we'll get more variety in NWA Champions, instead of the same champs for the past four years.
Plus come on. We have AmDrag going after the belt, we have Adam Pearce going after the belt, we have Brent Albright going after the belt? Yeah, I like where this is going.

If the NWA title is going to really mean something, they need to book it like the original title of the Lou Thesz days...a touring champion that faces the top star of any promotion he visits. It would help build up the indy's, bring prestige back to a belt that has become nothing more than a company title (TNA) and be treated internationally as THE world title, defended ANYWHERE. Japan, europe, central & south america, wherever, against the top local talents. No one else is doing that.

I totally agree with Superfly. That's what the NWA is all about. It shouldn't juswt be that way with their World Championship either, it should be that way with all the titles that are actually owned by the alliance, and not one of the member promotions. The Tag Team Champions should travel the world, facing the top teams in whichever promotion they're in. The North American Champion should travel all over North America defending his title. Is there still an NWA National Champion? An NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion? I don't know, but if there are, those titles should be defended by travelling champions as well. The NWA should be about helping the member promotions out, it should be more than a name. They should help each other by letting even the smallest member promotions get to use the big name stars that are the champions from time to time. Even when the WCW Champion was also the NWA Champion, he still played the travelling role. Why didn't TNA do it? They would have gotten exposure, and maybe a talent loan or two from other members. But, instead, they had to be selfish.
oh well. </rant> </wall of text>
