I read somewhere that there maybe another XScape Match just like the other LockDown events in the past. This may be for the X-Title. Possibly Lethal, Dutt, Shelley, and SharkBoy as challengers to Sabin. I wouldn't be surprised, but wouldn't there have to be a sixth person. Who would it be?

I assume this whole Christian Cage promising everyone a title match is leading up to Slammiversary and the King of the Mountain match, with it being modified to include 6 or 8 people this year.

Well, here are my predictions:
Team Angle Team 3-D Chris Harris Robert Roode Austin Starr Christopher Daniels Gail Kim
Xscape is a toss-up; so is the VKM match.

That's what I thought was going to happen NEXT month until Cornette said the person who wins the match would get a shot next month. Now let's see what happens if Christian is the one who wins it for his team lol

I'm not excited about this PPV at all. I'm still upset about wasting money on Destination X. I wish they'd go back to what made them a good company in the first place. Wrestling.

I'm so underwhelmed about this event that I really almost don't even care. I may not even waste my time downloading it on Monday.

See, you're just mistaken. It's not "wrestling" you want, it's wrestling that involves not just gimmick matches, but gimmick matches being contested inside yet another gimmick match! Who needs a cage match, when we can hold a blindfold match inside of a cage? Up next, a chicken pot pie on a pole match where the competitors aren't blindfolded, but the pot pie IS! Hell yes, ratings.

Hell yes, ratings. You know I thought I've heard all the pointless, stupid, idiotic gimmick matches. Than comes a Blindfold cage match. I mean come on. I mean the Martel-Roberts was cool because it was diffrent at that time and was a fun gimmick but when you make it in 6 side of steel, no you just killed it. Plus does an event all have to be in cages? It sort of kills the special thing about cage matches. But than again they did do an Arm Wrestling match in 6 sides of steel so I guess I shouldn't expect much.

I'm going to be at this show live. How sad is it that the only thing I'm really looking forward to is holding up my "RUSSORIFIC" poster as per Lance Storm's personal emailed blessing? EDIT: This will probably be the last TNA show I watch for a while.

Looking at the current card, it seems pretty good(except the Blindfold match. Did they learn nothing from Dusty and the Dustin/Roode match 2 years ago?).

So let's have a look at this year's LockDown card. I'll be there live for this one...
Christy Hemme's Team VS VKM VKM are apparently the faces in a feud with a woman trying to prove that women can wrestle like men. (Who does that uppity b---- think she is?) If this is the opener, there's no rush to get to the Family Arena.
Austin Starr VS Senshi w/ Special Guest Referee Bob Backlund Should be good so long as Bob doesn't interfere with the match itself too much. But this is TNA and Russo's in charge, so he probably will.
Gail Kim VS Jackie Moore So...doesn't this match prove Christy was right? And VKM lost? So their match is pointless? But...it...they...der...continuity?
Petey Williams VS Robert Roode Wasn't Robert Roode supposed to be the next big thing? Like he was calling himself the hottest prospect for every manager out there? Now he's jobbing to the who's supposed to be paranoid he's going to be fired?
Jerry Lynn VS Christopher Daniels This has the potential to kick all kinds of ass. Lynn's proven he's still got it, and Christopher Daniels is Christopher F'n Daniels. I haven't personally seen much buildup for it, but just seeing their names together promises something great. So with this being TNA should I expect a run-in?
BLINDFOLD MATCH: "Wildcat" Chris Harris VS "Cowboy" James Storm I lost interest in this feud like a month ago. Is it still going on? They rushed through Joe/Angle, but this one gets dragged out?
XSCAPE MATCH FOR THE X DIVISION TITLE: Sabin (c) vs. Dutt vs. Lethal vs. Shelley vs. Shark Boy The X Division is always fun. And thanks to the PCS skits, I really care about all these guys because now they have character and stuff... Don't they?
ELECTRIC STEEL CAGE FOR THE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE: The LAX (c) vs. Team 3D Again, they rushed Joe/Angle, but this gets dragged out? LAX is awesome, but enough is enough. When does this feud end!? When does LAX get to move on? When will Brother Ray lose weight?
Seriously, when you have to announce an ELECTRIFIED CAGE MATCH to make people want to see another match between two teams, it's time to call the thing off.
LETHAL LOCKDOWN MATCH TEAM ANGLE (Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Rhino, Sting, ??) VS. TEAM CAGE (Christian Cage, AJ Styles, Scott Steiner, Abyss & Tomko) I should be looking forward to this match, but I'm not.
Kurt and Joe working together still baffles me. Forget not getting along. Forget the competitive rivalry. Forget that Angle should've put Joe over, but the people in charge at TNA are numbskulls and had Angle go over. THE MAN NEARLY BROKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND'S ANKLE! Remember? Anyone? Kayfabe? Continuity?
Sting's also involved, and I've never been more underwhelmed with the Stinger than I am today. Which is sad because I really used to like the guy. Then he started feuding with Abyss...
And apparently Jeff Jarrett's coming back. As a face. In the main event. Yeah...
Team Cage is pretty entertaining, even if Cage handing out title shots seems silly to me. Problem is, I really don't care about their opponents (who I'm SUPPOSED to be rooting for).
Fortunately, I have several friends in St. Louis I'll be catching up with over the weekend. It's just too bad I have to end a trip back to my old college town with another lackluster TNA show.

Last Year I was so hyped up for Lockdown and it lived up to my expectations. This year I could care less. I mean give me a reason to care. Oh it has Bob Backlund. Oh great or it would be if this was 1983! An Electrified cage will probaly be very boring, blindfold cage match will suck as well. The Xscape match could be really good and maybe Lynn vs Daniels but other than that nothing.

Is it wrong that Bob Backlund is one of my top five reasons for continuing to watch TNA?
