The plan for Santino Morella is to give him quite a good push on TV without having him completely dominate his opponents. As of late last week, Morella’s win was not planned to be just a one shot deal, and he will be pushed as a legitimate character.

Cool! Santino is an awesome wrestler but I wonder how this is going to work out and how the US audience will view Santino.

I'm afraid I'm still struggling to see why WWE has so much talent that could have beaten Umaga and instead some plant in the audience gets the second highest title on Raw.
Just kidding, I know the title means jack all.

And yet he wasn't there to follow up a week later, although from a kayfabe standpoint, we can just say he was too busy packing and saying goodbye to his family in Italy before moving to the United States. He probably has to apply for a green card too. Imagine the skits of him trying to adapt to American life.

He probably has to apply for a green card too. Imagine the skits of him trying to adapt to American life. Or the skits of him trying to outrun authorities because he faked his green card and was an illegal immigrant. If the Bossman was alive to play the role of that authority, this'd be......well, offensive but also kinda funny.

I like the idea of a fragile champion. He could easily have the "lose-at-any-moment" aura and just about anyone could beat him.
But how long until his "upsets" become "wins?" That is what WWE has to worry about. Make him look...well...human.

Cue the stereotypical Southern Italian Mamma crying and screaming "Santino, my son, remember to bring your sweater and a pair of clean underwear! Take care and don't forget to eat!" [I'd love to write it in Italian-American spelling, but I can't figure out how to put it down ] WWE should really air some vignettes with Santino saying goodbye to his family and friends. Hmmm, stereotype!!!

Londrick were considered a tag team that stepped up for the big game. "You may not win them all, but you win the ones that count" kind of way. Santino is supposed to be a fan. A guy, with minor training, now in with "The best" the WWE possess. It makes obvious sense that the first guy to get a title shot could claim gold. I mean, storyline wise, wouldn't Nitro, Masters, heck even Val Venis would be running to Coach (or whoever makes Raw's matches) and trying everything they could to get a title match? That means that: 1.) Santino gets to show some skill in order to "surprise" some people. 2.) He should still be dominated though. He should be adapting to his new surroundings, at least for a month or two. 3.) They should focus on how quick three seconds can be. Santino isn't going to out-power Chris Masters, and he certainly isn't as adgile as Johnny Nitro, but all it takes is 1-2-3 and he wins. Constant attempts at roll-ups could really add to a match. Of course, this is just my opinion...

I see Santino as being a trainee who lucked out and is over his head and trying to survive and than after awhile he gets better and better and than you can make him into a destructive monster ala Taz. Thats what Santino should be but like I said until we see what they do on TV we wont know how they'll use him.

Soon unCreative will repackage him as a MAFIA don and have him carry a cat to the ring. Because he's Italian, and we all know that all Italian-Americans are gangsters, just as all Samoans are savages.

So how many matches will Bobby win for him? All of them. That way Lashley will be more over with the fans. [/WWE creative]

Those Foreigners wouldn't be so bad if they would stop lifting their kilts and taking dumps in the urinals.

Actually Mangle Me Elmo, I think it would be awesome if they made him into a mafia type character. Have him be a trained assassin. Having little skits where he almost lets us know, just enough that it lets on that he's a hitter, but they never clear cut say it. Knowing Double-Double E UnCreative, it would be blatantly said, mostly because they seem to think WWE fans are primitive morons, which is only the case for half of them.
