I think the match order so far has been great. I like the old-school concept of separating the 2 title matches by putting one half-way through the card. It keeps the crowd involved and doesn't burn them out by having all the big matches one after the other. I also think opening with the MITB Ladder match was a stroke of genius. I'm guessing next will be the ECW match, followed by Umaga/Lashley, then Melina/Ashley and HBK/Cena ending the show. Yes, you could argue that Undertaker won the Royal Rumble and is guaranteed a place in the Main Event at Wrestlemania. But (as I have said countless times before) whoever said the Main Event had to end the show?

I think its been great. Give the crowd a big time match to go nuts over than one or two not so great ones to build back up.

Agreed - there's no downside to doing it like this.

Yes, I enjoy this match order a ton. I do hate it when they put the Women's match right before the main event, though. It's like sending it out there to die. And I know the crowd needs a match of space to "cool down" before the main event, but that's always been a load, in my opinion, especially at an event like WM18, when the crowd cooled down and never heated back up.

Good.
They learned from WM 21 that putting the 2 title matches back to back is NOT a good idea.
Seperating them is the way to go.
And now the womens match will be the buffer between Vince getting shaved and the main event. Give the crowd a chance to get their voice back.

So now the show has finished anyone else like the order? Loved it. Wouldn't have changed a thing.

Hated it. Absolutely hated it.
Starting with MITB was ok by me, but no way in hell Taker/Batista, a WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH is a mid-card match. If you need another title match, make an IC or tag title match and move that to the main event. What a load of crock.

I don't know... that last match almost seemed like a let-down, pace-wise. They needed to end it on a high note and that just wasn't happening.
Taker/Batista should've been last. Flip that with Cena/HBK and I'm with you otherwise.

Only problem I had was the Undertaker/Batista match. It would be a whole alot better if they switched Cena/Michaels to Undertaker/Batista.

I haven't heard any kind of argument why the big matches shouldn't be spread out other than "OMG WTF", so I think it was the right decision.

For the people who didn't like the order - would you have booked Steamboat/Savage (the 2nd biggest match at WM3) right behind Andre/Hogan?

It just irks me that for the SECOND year in a row the women's match was later in the card than a WORLD TITLE MATCH!!!!! I don't care who the hell is in it. There is no goddamn way that should have been the 2nd to last match of the night.

And I never said WM 8 had a good order either. The title match should ALWAYS go on the end of a big show unless there's a very good reason not to. There is no reason that Taker/Batista which got the better build up goes into the midcard.

They should've said..."Tonight's first match is The Battle of the Billionaires! .... APRIL FOOLS!"
