I honestly would have switched HBK and Cena's spot with McMahon and Umaga, and put the two title matches on back to back. The only problem is the crowd. They would have walked out or started crap on the Cena victory or be too worn out from Batista/Undertaker match. They needed the space between them.

When you have 80,000 sitting on their hands and giving the biggest pop to a midget, you know you're not doing too well with the PPV Forget You, man. Hornswoggle rules. I was hoping hed get the case. then tell fit drop dead and challenge taker.

Good show all up. I really enjoyed it.
At one point in the hair match I thought The Rock was gonna come out and throw Shane around.

I work at a newspaper and there's currently a photo available on the Associated Press wire of Vince doing "snip-snip" motions with a pair of scissors during his entrance.
In the background is a guy holding a huuuuge sign that says "THIS IS STUPID."
I'm praying that runs in USA Today or something.

I'm really happy Cena retained, I feel he's really grown into his role as a main eventer and champion since last year.
Sorry HBK marks.

Overall, I was entertained and laughing my ass off at practically every shot of Vince.
Although, my hope is to take a nice Wrestlemania 24/Disney World vacation next March and finally see John Cena lose at the grandaddy of 'em all live.

I watched it away from the influence of teh interwebz and I thought it was a really good show.
Cena vs HBK was a great match in my opinion, better than Trips vs Cena last year even. Good times.

So how long until they sell the official Wrestlemania 23 plaques with tufts of Vince McMahon's hair in them?

Not bad at all. The only match that really stunk was the women's title, everything else may not have been outstanding but was still good fun. Cena/HBK was actually...*gulp*...good.

That Wrestlemania kicked some serious ass! And since I steered away from all spoilers even Smackdown, and ECW (get it on Fridays in Canada) I got really into Wrestlemania this year. And after watching the first 22 Mania's over the last 2 months I think this one ranks up with the best of them, its not the greatest but it was damn good.
MITB:
Wow, what a freakin match. These 8 men busted thier asses, put thier bodies on the line and really set the bar high tonight for the matches to follow. The spot with Kennedy and Hornswoggle was amazing, although something tells me Little Bastard will be feeling that Lambaeu Leap for weeks to come. The Celtic Cross on the ladder was also an intense spot to see. Finaly really showed why he is a great wrestler tonight. And the ladder spot with Edge and the Hardy's un-friggin-believable! My friends and I all thought Edge was dead after that. I thought Punk was going to win it for a minute but then bam Kennedy out of no where hits him with that ladder and wins the match.
Overall: 9/10
Kane vs. Khali
Well I won't lie Khali has begun to grow on me a little bit. Tonights match wasn't a Mania moment but it was still a decent match.
Overall: 4/10
Benoit vs. MVP
Benoit won? I was totally expecting an MVP upset but alas it wasn't to be. A preety good showing from these two men and a shocking outcome. Also no Crossface which surprised me, but still a damn good headbutt to finish it off.
Overall: 6/10
Taker vs. Batista
This match had me on edge the entire time. Though Taker seemed to carry most of the match Batista step it up a notch and really impressed me tonight. The slam through the table was damn good. I wasn't sure if Vince would end Taker's streak with Batista but after the Batista Bomb I was certain that he had. Tahnkfully Taker kicked out and hit the Tombstone to go 15-0 and become the World Heavyweight Champion.
Overall: 7/10
8 Man Tag
This match was pretty much used as a bathroom break as nothing really happened and it was given a minimal amount of time. Only really good thing was the Originals won unlike the past weeks on ECW where the New Breed seemed to dominate most of the time.
Overall: 4/10
Battle of the Billionaires
Meh the match wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Best preformance I personally have seen out of both men, but I was unenthusiaed the whole time as I knew the envitable outcome of Vince going bald.
Overall: 3/10
Lumberjill match
Time for another bathroom break. Unless you like looking at hot females. I like the latter so I stuck around for the worst match of the night. Shocking that Melina won with Ashley in Playboy, but I'm happy she didnt get the belt
Overall: 1/10
Cena vs. HBK
As much as I was on edge for Taker vs. Batista. This match was that X10. Match started off pretty good. And the match got progressivly better and better. The crowd was awesome in this match as they were all night long. Lots of good close calls in this one with F-U's and STFU's and a Sweet Chin Music which I had thought ended the match. Good counters as well, the F-U into a DDT was good. As was the cross body into the F-U into HBK landing on his feet. And once Cena locked in the STFU in the middle of the ring I was in full HBK mark mode. Yelling and screaming at the TV for HBK to fight it and get to the ropes. I was a little disapointed that HBK tapped out but that doesnt take away the preformance these 2 men put on in a stellar main event at Wrestlemania.
Overall: 8/10
PPV Overall: 90/100

I loved it. Sorry guys, but Cena/HBK wasn't gonna go any different than it did, but both guys did a damn good job of making me think otherwise many times. Amazing match, and while I would've prefered Batista/Taker as the main event, this one definetly delivered.
Batista/Taker was awesome too, and Money in th Bank was off the hook.
Benoit/MVP was a really good match too, MVP was put over very well despite losing.
Battle of the Billionares was great entertainment, and the aftermath was priceless.
All in all, a great event.

Oh man this was awesome stuff.
MITB was basically the clusterf*** that was expected and it was GREAT! Finlay DIVES from the top rope to the outside which had me marking out big time. Jeff Hardy and Edge KILL themselves for my amusement. Serious fun right here folks.
Kane bumps everywhere for Khali and tries to carry him to something that won't horrifically suck. This match was there and it served its purpose and didn't outright offend me.
MVP and Benoit bring the MAT WRESTLING FUN and it was TREMENDOUS. The story of MVP stepping up his game and scouting Benoit really made him seem important in this match and him losing to Benoit didn't seem to hurt MVP's momentum as a result. Short but SWEET.
Undertaker and Batista have a FRIGGIN' GREAT MATCH. Batista amazes the world by NOT COMPLETELY SUCKING. Undertakers dive to the outside was tremendous and Batista overpowering the Taker and powerslamming through a table was a site to see. Hell, Batista did a top rope shoulderblock! I was amazed. Awesome stuff!
ECW match was watchable at best. Sabu flies off the ropes and I am entertained. Other people do stuff, Matt Striker bumps like an idiot and I found myself enjoying him.
Hair match featured a couple of really good bumps. Lashley pulling down the rope and forcing Umaga to go over the top rope was great because of how Umage didn't even touch the ropes on the way to the ropes. Tremendous bump. Then Lashley charges at Umaga and misses and goes flying through the ropes to the outside in another MANLY bump. Vince and Austin then carried the match with their actions and mannerisms. Vince getting his hair shaved and the way he reacted: FUN!
Women's match. Ashley looks like she is losing weight by the day. Pretty soon she'll be a skeleton which will make for a great halloween gimmick. Girls all catfight after the match and overall it was there and served it's purpose. Basically a "popcorn" match. I got a gatorade.
The Main Event. Shawn Michaels is GREAT! Cena is GREAT! Shawn is basically a prick throughout most of the match and I LOVED it. Shawn worked on the leg a bit. Shawn then pretty much ignored the leg afterwards. Cena is DETERMINED to win this match and earn the respect of Michaels. Note to those of you overanalysing the match: Cena was selling the leg a bit after Michaels stopped. After Michaels stopped working on the leg for a while, then Cena started to no-sell it because he was selling it like the pain was going away a bit. Plus Cena was running on adrenaline. It made sense. Anyways, Michaels did a crazy Asai Moonsault and somewhere Ultimo Dragon nods in apporval. Ref gets knocked out and Michaels piledrives Cena on the staircase! Great stuff. Near the end Cena tried to fight back and they do a long finishing sequence which results in a messload of Hold-your-breath moments. Cena hooks in his second STFU in the middle of the ring and I thought it looked kind of cool how Cena was leaning back to his side more than usual. Finally after trying to fight, it becomes hopeless for Michaels and he taps. MATCH OF THE NIGHT!
Overall, this was awesome and well worth the billion dollars it costs to watch on PPV (which I didn't spend, hooray for annoying rich friends!).
