You're wrong. I won't wonder when the next title change will be.....I'll be too damn gobstruck to wonder that, because Cena doesn't appear to EVER be losing the Title anytime soon, bar injury. Appearances can be deceiving. Even the LMS? Really? Suspension of belief is what makes a show good. No, I didn't know that he would win a WM. No, I didn't know he'd win tonight. Why? Because there is always a chance. The Orton Hotel story could have been a cover. Michaels might be whining for another title run. Edge's talent might be rewarded again. Kennedy can show up at any moment. Indeed. We have two different sets of eyes. So...do you hate the kids who cheer Cena? Because you might be hating your inner child...oh look, time is up for this session. I think we just have different tastes when it comes to wrestling. I can enjoy most things, unless they are horribly overbooked (Looking at you TNA Gimmick Matches). Probably. Probably not. The Future is unpredictable. That is why it is fun. There was no chance he was losing the LMS.....there was no chance that he was losing the WM match.....and there was no chance he was losing tonight. In fact, there's no chance he's losing in the next five f***ing months, you know that? It's just not going to happen. I can say that with a surety. The "Anything can happen in the WWE" tagline is as dead as the dodo. The only f***ING THING that is sure to happen in the WWE is f***ING John Cena overcoming the odds. Period. And that's what pisses me off. The same motherf***er just pulling win after win after win out of his ass. Cena lost a NON TITLE match on RAW. Whoop-de f***ing-do. That makes up for his UNENDING dominance for the past f***ing YEAR? I don't think so. With the Rock, there was always a chance that he could lose. He wasn't booked like some unbeatable Superman. He was human. Brock Lesnar proved that. Same with Austin. He could be beat....there, I believed that on any given night, Austin might lose his title. But the WWE wants us to believe Cena as a scrappy underdog, who "defies the odds" and wins every time. Hey DOUCHEBAGS: An underdog doesn't win every time. He loses more times than not. When he wins every goddamn match, he becomes the FAVORITE. He becomes DOMINANT. GOD. DAMN. IT. This shit is not that hard to f***ing figure out. I want that unpredictability back....but as long as Cena is champ, then we all know how WWE Title matches are going to end. Cena wins via submission. Cena wins via pinfall. Cena wins via DQ Cena wins via countout. There is never a chance in hell the man will lose, and I for one am done watching until that booking changes.

No, Clarence Mason is cool, but Ozzy Osbourne never wrote any songs about him.

I am so glad that I didn't get this Backlash, or even cop the audio from ************** or *************. Because quite frankly...
THIS IS THE WORST PPV WWE HAS EVER BROADCAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean look at it:
Vince as a World Champion (ECW)...AGAIN!! Cena retains the WWE title...AGAIN!!! The screaming ***** is still Women's Champion
The only good thing that came out of it was that Benoit shut MVP up. Stupid Power Ranger.
WORST BACKLASH EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

How about, Kennedy cashes in his MITB shot against Cena, then locks him in a cage so he can never win it back.

Putting aside the results.
How were the matches quality wise?

Putting aside the results. How were the matches quality wise? I'm about to watch it here in a few minutes, but I'm hearing from PWI that these matches from an in ring perspective were excellent. Apparently with a hour less time than Wrestlemania, this show only had 8 minutes less total wrestling on it. I hate some of these results, but can't wait to see these matches.

Anybody hope John Cena turns into JBL? Like slowly but surely he turns more heelish, racist, homophobic, and generally entertaining on the mic?

From wwe.com: After being superkicked by HBK, an opportune John Cena fell on Randy Orton during Backlash's Fatal Four Way. The ref then counted Orton’s shoulders down for the three-count. Cena recovered from the Sweet Chin Music to learn he had retained his title.WTF IS THIS?! THIS DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE! GAH!

The ref counted it as ortons shoulders were down. Personally This ppv was good. Good in ring action throughout and very entertaining. The ECW match was as expected screwy, but should make interesting viewing now. I was confused with the ending of the undertaker/batista match, although it does set up a rematch. The end spot was cool. I honest thought someone might beat Cena this time. It even had a situation where someone else oculd have done the job so Cena wasnt pinned. I definatly didnt think the ending was predictable, if someone had told me that cena would have won be falling on someone I wouldnt have believed them. I also have no problem with Cena having a long title reign and winning alot as long as his matches are good and frankly hes been in some of the best WWe matches this year.
