No. We're saying that there should be a new WWF World title belt made to replace the spinning hubcap.

Winged Eagle. An awesome belt for the period.

well the attitude belt was really making the winged eagle design look just as grand as the big gold belt
as for Edge not changing the belt, I agree it did strenghten the whole transitional champ thing
at least RVD had a reason (isf somewhat bizarre) reason for keeping the spinner.cos the spinning amused him (somehow I can imagine him stoned out his mind spinning the bekt and being transfixed by it all )

No! I'm saying should a newly designed belt be made to take over for the spinner belt.

If WWE were smart, they'd just make a blown up version of the winged eagle belt. But they won't, so I vote the Undisputed title belt, if only because it looks like the kind of belt the champion of any other physical sport would wear. And also because they'd screw the pooch on any kind of a new belt, like the first version of the undisputed title looking like a cruiserweight title belt.

as for Edge not changing the belt, I agree it did strenghten the whole transitional champ thing I disagree. Edge could have strengthened the transitional champ thing, but the belt prevented it. In fact it ruined his reign. As long as they keep the spinning VW hubcap then you know that Cena will soon get it back which takes away from whoever beats him. But as long as Edge was keeping the hubcap anyway, I suggested that they lock the spinner on its side so that it looked like an "E". Then Edge would call himself the "WW Edge" World champion. I think that would have really gone over.

Winged Eagle. An awesome belt for the period. True. But sadly that period is over. They need a new belt.

Undisputed. That's a belt with class. Though it looks a LITTLE too much like the World Tag Belt.

thats the thing a bigger newly designed belt seems to be needed. Since the two most likely new WWE Champions, HBK and Randy Orton would look very bad and just wrong with the spinner.

Why is it that the title known as the "WWE tag team championship" and who belt look like the classic WWF World tag team championship belt, (on Smackdown)are not the ones with the linage of the WWF World tag team championship?

Actually both titles are actually almost identical. Except one is red(for raw) the other is blue(for smackdown). I know it is strange and honestly the blue one should have the history since the raw titles have meant squat in a very long time and Smackdowns titles have had awesome feuds. Sad they treat the raw tags the way they do with the history of that belt, same thi the Intercontinental belt as well, just shows you what the true A show is and it rhymes with Lacktown not saw.

Well since the Winged Eagle Belt isn't an option, I voted for the Undisputed Title even though it kinda reminded me of the old Intercontinental Title.

I like consistency over changes, when it comes to trophies and belts.
I like the idea that the same World Cup design used in 1978 is still used in 2006.
Same goes for the WWE and it's belts. It maintains a linear line of champions.

the "attitude" era belt is memorable for me bc I think thats when wrestling was at its best (from when I watched, not all time)
but the undisputed title was held by Hogan so....IT WINS!

I like the old belts, but today's belt(the title, not the physical belt itself) doesn't have as much meaning to me, so just keep the newer belt

But wouldn't it have been easier to just use the word "title" so that you wouldn't have to explain?

The WWE Tag Team Titles weren't created until the fall of 2002 on Smackdown and they just called the old WWF Tag Titles the World Tag Team Championship. I know that. The question is: why didn't they call the old title "WWE tag team championship" instead of the new one? After all the old one is the title with the WWF World tag team title linage. It would have made much more sense.

Well nowadays they only use the word "Title" rather than belt, so really it confused me as i wrote that
