...without breaking a sweat. Well, this was the last Raw for me, folks. I like Cena, but this booking is absolutely atrocious. I'm not going to sit here and believe one guy can single-handedly OWN five people without taking ANY damage. Especially when one of those five is an undefeated monster that's been booked to destroy everything for the past year. That sucked horribly. Only Smackdown for me now. There's terrorism in the world and Cena "owning" 5 wrestlers in a chereographed contest is a problem to you?

He also got pinned by Kevin Federline and that's pretty much the big picture right there

Yeah, Hogan didn't do handicap matches all that much, that I remember. Oh, he'd beat up a lot of guys at once sometimes, but his matches were usually one on one affairs.

austin and rock did it all the time, dx does it the most recently. faces do it, and have been doing it for years No, they really didn't. Austin had that one match where he beat Dude Love with Vince as the guest referee, and the stooges as "guest" things. But other than that, he lost the WWF Title in that match with Taker and Kane, he was screwed over in that Survivor Series tournament in 98, he was robbed of the Royal Rumble in 99, etc. He spent way more time chasing the WWF Title than he ever did holding it. The Rock, too, lost the title a whole bunch of times. And I don't really recall him having all that many handicap matches. Cena, on the other hand, "defies the odds" ten times out of ten. He'll beat a challenger, then beat him again in a 2 on 1 match, then beat him in a 3 on 1 match, then somehow beat him in a "all guys named John Cena automatically lose" match.

I remember when the entire Smackdown roster backed down to Austin when Lesnar stole his quad.

Because they didn't like what Heyman and Lesnar did to Austin.

Hey, this handicap match HAD to be better than that disappointing opener. That opener was so horribly underwhelming and unfunny that I chose once again to not watch Raw.

I've seen so much worse from wrestling in the last couple of years. This doesn't even register on the bad scale for me.

Nah, Saturn was shot saving a woman from being raped, or something like that. Saturn no-sold the shooting. Yep. Saturn saved a woman from being raped by 2 guys, was shot 3 times in the neck with a .22 or .24 caliber hangun, no sold it and still kicked both men's asses. He didn't even know he'd been injured by the bullets until he went to the doctor a few weeks later for stinging pains in his neck. That's one of the reasons I am a huge mark for Saturn. There's terrorism in the world and Cena "owning" 5 wrestlers in a chereographed contest is a problem to you? So people can't complain about anything except terrorism now? Yes terrorism's a bigger problem, but that doesn't mean people hve to enjoy everything else they see on TV. Anyway I said in another thread- Cena going over 5 people was bad, but had to be done to save face for Cena from losing to K-Fed.

Honestly, I was more pissed that they put Federline over Cena. Even as a heel move to get Umaga more over at NYR, it was a slap in the face. But yeah, Cena beating up on five guys without trying, because he's a PISSED OFF MARINE, is ridiculous.
The K-Fed thing took me out of the show immediately.

What about his first reign where he would one-up Vince and the corperation every week? Or the Corperate Ministry angle? Austin would come out and take out every guy (aside from Taker) on a weekly basis with little to no effort. Or the night before the 'Invasion' ppv where he stunned the entire Alliance as the rest of the WWF roster watched? Look, Cena is bad, but let's not pretend he is the first guy that has been pushed this heavily in this manner

And let's not forget, Cena was armed with a chair, many a wrestler has defeated multiple people while armed with a weapon. Steve Blackman has fought off 6 people at once with a kendo stick, for example.
What it's a good example!
