Out of all of WWE's top champions of 2006, who did you feel had the best reign(s) last year?

Edge had an amazing run, especially considering it was squeezed in during unstoppable Cena era.

Edge, since he managed to get a lot of hear off Cena, basically putting him back on track. Even though Edge was never made look good (fluke/dirty wins, emphatic losses) he was a credible Champion and, most important, "saved" Cena's face run. Or at least bought it some more time.
King Booker did well too, but the King thing got old rather quickly IMO, and he was there just to waste time until Batista was ready for the comeback.

CM Punk as OVW Champ! Oh, that's not an option.
Then I'll go with King Bookah

King Booker, without a doubt was my favorite champ of WWE last year. I thought he'd be one of those who'd never get the top prize in WWE, but after some B.S *coughsWM19coughs* he finally made it. AW HELL KING BOOKAH!!

Rob Van Dam was my favorite champ of 2006. I'd been waiting to see him hold a world title since 1998. Coming in a VERY close second is Edge, who I feel was screwed over by not getting a long title reign.

Booker. While Edge was more important, Booker was much more entertaining, as he didn't get buried against a single opponent. The King Boooookaaaaaah gimmick was pure gold.

My favorite champion was Edge, because after years of hard work he finally got his chance. Granted we all knew he'd lose it to Cena, but it was great to see someone besides Cena as the Raw champion.
The best booked champion was easily Big Show. I know a lot of people dislike the new ECW including myself, but I thought they did a great job with his reign.

Gotta be Booker for me.
A shame they had nobody to feud with him but Batista.

John Cena.
He's held the belt for the vast majority of the year and represents himself very well as the Top Guy.
