Orlando Florida: Sable's last WWE match in 99. May 10th to be exact. Patterson and Brisco coming out to Real American Owen Hart vs Kurt Angle Scott Steiner's official WWE debut to sign the contract for that horrible Royal Rumble 03 match. Sgt. Slaughter burning the Hulk rules t-shirt on the podium with Mean Gene Royal Rumble 90 (Dibiase lasts 44 minutes, won by Hulk Hogan) Smackdown: The Lesner/Big Show broken ring angle. Bash at the Beach 94 (Hogan wins WCW title, Arn Anderson turns on Dustin Rhodes) I went through 4 pages of this to see if someone posted about Orlando and there it was. You missed a lot of things though. Royal Rumble 90 was also the Hogan/Warrior face off. HUGE event right there. While not technically Orlando, Taz won his first World Title by beating Shane Douglas in 1999 in Kissimmee. You've also got pretty much every big event that has happened in TNA on Impact or a PPV (except for Victory Road 2006). I think Mick Foley was Cactus Jack for another of his "one night only" deals and took on Viscera and Mideon in a Hardcore Match. I could be wrong on who he faced though.

Elmira, NY-Big Show loses it at an angry fan.
Hey, I am from a smaller city! A semi-kayfabed house show event is all I got!

So many major events have happened in pro wrestling. The only major thing that's happened in my hometown of Chattanooga, TN is the f***ing Chamber of Horrors. I was just there for the Nat'l Title game. I never knew the Chamber of Horros happened there. Wilmington, NC: Childhood home of Michael Jordan and where Brandon Lee died....... Jim Crocket promotions use to run Legion Stadium here with Mr. Wrestling II and many of the other MACW stars. I've played in that stadium many times in high school. But the one thing that people always remember about wrestling here is the plane crash with Ric Flair on board. I live less than five miles from the actualy crash site......that's it. We don't have an arena so no house shows or anything. I remember some local fed had the Faces of Fear (Meng and the Barbarian) team up at Riverfest outside but that's about it.

I've lived in Chicago for a while, but previously it was the Rockford, Ill., area, where ...
- Bret Hart first told American wrestling fans to kiss his ass the night after WM13 - Money Inc. beat the Steiners for the tag belts at a 1993 house show before losing them back again for good - Dan Severn tore D'Lo Brown's pectoral, resulting in the chest protector gimmick that lasted for months - Earthquake attacked Andre the Giant and "crippled" his leg (Andre's kayfabe reason for retiring from active wrestling) - Billy & Chuck won the tag belts from Spike Dudley and Tazz on Smackdown

i was at the show in charlotte when the spirit squad debuted. there was also a very nice flair tribute from john cena after the cameras were off. poor ric was in tears.
i am also pretty sure that the raw in charlotte (which i was also at) when trish and lita main evented was the first time a womens match was the main event. that was the night lita nearly killed herself with a suicide dive (haha! funny ol' world!)

To the guy who said Wheeling, WV, if I'm not mistaken, that's where 'Quake debuted, as well.

Salt Lake City, UT
Goldberg's first Nitro match.
Ric Flair was given the WCW world title from Nash, then lost it to Jarrett in the same night.
Smackdown changed from the oval stage to the fist thing.
Chris Benoit did a flying head butt to Curt Hennig on top of a cage on Thunder in a tag match. No one probably remembers this but it's vivid in my mind!

Well, in Boston we had the beginning of the Attitude Era when Austin took the strap at WrestleMania 14. In Worchester we had Mankind win the title for the first time which was also the beginning of the decline of WCW in the Monday Night Wars. And in my hometown of Revere we had the infamous Mass Transit Incident.
