Rumble wasn't last, main event sucked, Cena won-that's why I didn't like it, I didn't like Rey but I was going for him so I didn't mind him winning

Yep, Rumble should be last. Unless they've got a REALLY good championship match lined up to end the show. Rumble 2006 did not have that at all. The card just seemed not well done. The midcard talent in the Rumble stood no chance at all, the surprises were........mostly disappointing (Tatanka was a nice addition, but Eugene and Goldust.....meh) and the same ol' people had the best chances which was no fun at all.

No, WWE had a REALLY good championship match lined up, but even that match did not end the show! Thus I present my Unconfirmed Theory #303: "Mark Henry's 10-year contract included one World title match on pay-per-view, so WWE fit it in at the 2006 Royal Rumble before his contract expired." The whole gimmick with Undertaker after the match was just WWE trying to make the most of a bad situation.

The fact the Angle vs Henry was the main event is enough to make one wanna never watch wrestling again.... plus Rey "charity case" mysterio winning

Royal Rumble 2006 was the straw that broke this wrestling fan's back. I haven't watched a single second of WWE television since RR 2006. The Eddie exploiting, the bastardization of the Rumble (another #1 entrant winning), Cena beating Edge when they should have headlined WM, Triple H still being the top guy, Henry in a main event.....just awful all the way around.

For me: - Rey winning it - The Stupidity of Cena's Entrance that screamed "I'm winning this match". - Angle/Henry - Ashley in a match Pretty much my sentiments as well, at least we know Rey's not winning this year, thank god. Also including Boogey/JBL which was awful to watch and didn't do JBL any favors nor Boogeyman. I'm optimistic that this year's will be better, probably do to the fact that there won't be any shameless Eddie references all through the show.

This isn't really about the Rumble itself. But one thing that annoyed me to no end about the Rumble match was that even though Rey won the match, he still didn't get to main event Wrestlemania. Instead we got Triple H getting in that position from a televised tournament, making the struggle of the Rumble a little pointless.

Forget WWF, 1990's- THAT'S UN-BE-LIEVABLE!
