Learning from them doesn't, but coming out and looking down at others for it does. Well maybe if he listened to the rational arguments of the past 3 pages i wouldn't be considering the possibility he has his head stuck in a block of cement labeled "2005". It looks as though you're about to ignore the next three pages of rational arguments that you can't handle. Say it with me: Hypocrisy.

Well if you hadn't noticed her was also giving arguements of his own, sure some might call it 'immature', but that's just like how he was calling Matt Hardy 'immature'. The problem I have is not whether he was being immature. For the record i believe that yes he did go a tad too far with this. The problem I have is...why is any of this relevant 2 years later?

So if OJ Simpson walked into your house and invited himself to a spot of tea, you wouldn't judge him on what he did a decade ago?
Exactly. I couldn't put it any better myself. Visionary.

Because someone else made a thread about it, and now we're discussing our opinions on it maybe? Wonderful. I would have NEVER figured that out on my own I still question the relevance of any of this including the thread being made in the first place. Because everybody suddenly activates their "2005" opinions which then become the "2007" opinions and really makes no sense because it clouds one's judgment. Especially that comment about blowing up a bus full of nuns. Still scratching my head about that.

Well I can't help ya there, and I see you utilised the endless power of sarcasm to battle my sarcams in a duel of the ages... Some people probably just can't take Matt seriously after knowing how bad he may of taken something... I dunno there Some people use different extremes when discussing someone, but it still dealing with a negativity having effects on someones image, whether it actually effects their character or not.

Quite True, Quite True.
But it still doesn't explain how we're not allowed to take somebody seriously after this. Maybe it's because some of us can be like "yeah ok this happened and was bad but it's past now". Maybe some of us are like "wow he must still be like that", and maybe some of us just don't care, or might view it as, FUNNY.
Frankly I'm still trying to figure out the people who think he's obviously still like this.

Also, the more they happen, the more likely they can occur.

Also, the more they happen, the more likely they can occur. Yeah, something. Like a 6 year relationship coming to a crashing end because of an affair and a cellphone message. But let me tell you something besides that. The day following the breakup or whatever it was, Matt actually called Edge. There was no "fight" per-se. Instead he and Edge (as rationally as possible) discussed the whole situation over breakfast. Now granted, i only have the word of the guys on Between the Ropes on that little story, but let me put it to you like this. If he rationally discusses what occurred with the person who Lita had the affair with, do you really think he was meaning to be 100% serious in that video? Granted one could interpret it that way, but that probably wasn't his intent. Also there's the fact he mentioned in his shoot interview how he was on speaking terms with both of them again (and that was just predating his return to the WWE) On another note, did we see him have a total breakdown when his relationship with Ashley ended? No? Well then there's no further following of a percieved established precedent. Now then I have a splitting headache from debating this so i think I'm done for now.

He might of been rational with Edge and Lita in personal, but would that really explain his net tirade... I mean if he was willing to be rational to them face to face, but acted all weird on the net, wouldn't that just make him an attention seeker?

I mean yes he was rational to them, but even if you're rational you still are going to have some pain to deal with, plus maybe he was giving the people what they wanted to hear instead of what really happened. In which case, bad move on his part. but again we don't know for certain.
