Does anybody know where next year's Royal Rumble will be held ? Also, the WWE website has the following listed. Sun, Sep 9 WWE presents SmackDown and ECW - Minneapolis, Minn. 7:30 p.m. Tickets Sun, Sep 16 WWE RAW / SmackDown / ECW present UNFORGIVEN - Memphis, Tenn. 6:45 p.m. Where can I found out what venues will be holding WWE shows between the 9th and 16th ?

I cannot answer your question I'm afraid, but I'm curious about next year - how will they promote it, I wonder?
Will they revert back to saying "Only one man has won the Rumble, being the number one entrant", or will they acknowledge this happening twice, with only Shawn Michaels mentioned by name.

I believe it's been said that Rumble '08 will eminate from Madison Square Garden...
I can't cite the source (because I can't remember it) but I say it mentioned here a few months back. And Googling "Royal Rumble 2008" and "New York" brings a couple mentions of that.

Benoit's winning from #1 will never be mentioned again.
It's very common for them to "forget" facts that don't suit them.
How many times have we heard "Nobody has EVER done this to the Undertaker before!!!"
Or "These two have never met in the ring!!!"
Or "Nobody has ever broken the masterlock!!!"

I never really understood why there was so much hype for being No.1 till the end and not no.2? Don't they both start off in the match together, they both particiapte for the same period of time , it's just one guy gets to walk, run, appear in a cloud of smoke down to the ring first.

8 years on from my WWF debut, and the Rumble is back where it belongs - MSG. I started watching at pretty much the exact same time as you, that was the first Wrestling show I watched on good ol' Channel 4 ;D If anything being #2 is harder because #1 could just go for you as soon as you enter the ring.
