B+ for me. ECW and Raw are improving and Smackdown still delivers. Edge winning the title and actually (gasp) keeping it is awesome.

I gave it a C. Up until Backlash it was a B+ but things have been atrocious since then.

Went with a D. Sorry, but the only feud which I bothered to get interested in this year involved MVP and Chris Benoit.
Raw: With the exception of his bouts against HBK, Cena's bored me to tears fighting crap like Umaga and Khali. Smackdown: Batista in the main event...over...and over...and over....yawwwwwwwwwwn. Well, at least Kick-Punch jobbed out to Edge. ECW: Lashley vs Vince took up most of the time this year, and what a dull feud it was. Vince in the ring is not interesting anymore like it used to be when he faught against Austin. Nitro is champ, that might make things interesting. Jobbing your first live match as World Champion (even if it is to Cena) is not a good sign.

A-
The wrestling has been good to great. ECW in particular is a good time. Lots of Stryker, Punk, and Burke, and two weeks in I'm liking Boogey there too.
The story lines have been pretty good too. Not necesarily the ones they have arched out, but the stuff they've done spontaniously has been good. Most notably, having Edge screw over both the injured Kennedy (Kennedy) and injured Undertaker was really surprizing and awesome. Mr. McMahon's "death" was also an awesome angle and I'm sorry that we don't get to see it play out, as it hadn't jumped the shark yet.
It lost points with me because: 1. Too much Lashley, 2. Not enough Mickie ( I miss Mickie's weekly mic time she enjoyed last year. She's hot and cuts better promos than some of the mid card dudes they are so desperate for me to like. That and if she had promo time, they could actually put her in an angle.), 3. No more strict brand splt. (Not a big complaint, but come on! If it's done and wrestlers can hold any belt or wrestle on any show, what's the point. I guess you could say this is redundant with the "Too much Lashley" reason.
In the grand scheme, those complaints are relaively minor. So A-, and with the returns of Booker, Rey, HHH, HBK, Kennedy, and Taker, I think the rest of the year should pick up nicely, although it will also hinge on how the product deals with the loss of Benoit and the subsequent media storm.

It gets a C minus from me. It's slowly started to improve, but there are still some elements dragging it down. SmackDown was reaped by Raw (again), but it's managed to still be a good show. ECW got a good heel in Johnny Nitro, yet it also got the scraps the bigger brands didn't want. On the plus side the show lost Lashley, who was never going to fit into ECW (even a watered down ECW). The reports that ECW will become a glorified developmental territory are disturbing and I hope WWE reconsiders this. The brand should be an alternative to the WWE's style of booking, not a place to groom stars for the bigger shows. ECW meeds to stand on its own, surving without the constant help from its sister brands. Otherwise it'll exist in a state of arrested development for as long as it lasts.
Then there's Raw, the "A show" (according to WWE). Raw is Raw. They'll simply steal talent from the other brands when they need to.

B- for me.
The year started off pretty well with some strong fueds on all accounts. I mostly only watch Raw, so a majority of my comments will be directed towards the flagship show. I felt the year started off well with strong fueds between Cena and Umaga, D-Generation X and Rated RKO, and Hardy and Nitro. The Royal Rumble it's self was the most exciting one I've seen in years, with Cena and Umaga's Last Man Standing match deserving an honorable mention. My biggest fear, in being a Umaga fan was when they had him defeated that it would kill his character, thankfully his loses to John Cena and Bobby Lashley have not done so. Wrestlemania wasn't that great, in my opinion. When I say that, I don't mean because of who won certain matches, overall I was happy with the winners of each match. It just wasn't as exciting as it normally is for me, and the Money In The Bank match was a let down. Everything went rather well leading up to Wrestlemania, but since Wrestlemania I've been experiencing WWE overkill, well since Backlash I suppose. Nothing has really seemed exciting, and it seems booking and storyline wise the WWE has backed it's self into a corner. But some more highlights would include ECW Originals vs. The New Breed, I really enjoyed that storyline, but it should have completely climaxed[giggles] at Wrestlemania, while both Raw and Smackdown seem to suffer, ECW has really picked up steam. I like where they are at right now.

I'll go with the three-show individual grading as well.
RAW: C-. It's quickly become a black hole of talent: great guys go in, nothing comes out. It just feels very weird, especially since it's supposed to be the A-show. ECW: A. Most of my favorite wrestlers are there currently, and I'm always entertained every time I watch. How will they screw it up? SD!: B-. It's not been too bad, but they got pretty hurt in the draft. I think SD needs one or two more credible main eventers to get it going, and also I'd like to see Batista shipped down into the midcard. Not bad.
My average: B to a B-, so I gave it a B-. I'm glad GAB wasn't in the first half, because that PPV is cursed.
