I was watching "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" the other day on Nick at Nite, and it hit me....
Carlton is a black, non-wrestling replica of Kurt Angle during his "dorky heel" run.
Why didn't I notice this before??

Well, Kurt during the Benoit tag team on Smackdown early on was a replica on Tommy Boy, with the whole "tag team parters don't shake hands thing, tag team partners gotta hug!" line being in the movie, with "tag team partners" replaced by "brothers"

On a related note, Ken Kennedy (Kennedy) gets his shtick from boxing announcer M. Mark Beiro. I found this out watching Beiro announce a match as part of "The Best of Butterbean Volume 2".
Pop Quiz hotshots! What's the most shameful thing in that paragraph?
A. That I know this thoroughly worthless piece of information.
B. That there is such a thing as "The Best of Butterbean".
C. That there was apparently the need for A SECOND VOLUME of "The Best of Butterbean".
