I always liked HBK selling it. But the best one of all... I know its JR, but back in 96-some of 97 its like no one knew how to take the stunner, it was always all akward and slow... True I love Bret Hart, but he used to sell it like an old man.

I'm really partial to Hall's sell of the stunner, with is 4ft jump into the air was great.

Scott Hall did it the best....stunned on his feet then up up and away!
Rock oversold alot sometimes it looked worse than others. The stunner should not be sold like you just got shot by a rocket. He did do a good sell of the spear/gore though, him and a few others. When you get hit by someone with the size and power of goldberg/rhyno its going to hurt.
*why are they supposed to jump into the move exactly? I've noticed it in the games and there is no logic to the jump/turn part. If you get kicked in the gut and he grabs your head and sits out with it you drop you, wouldn't jump into it like say an rKo (see sig .gif)

There's no good answer to this question, because the Stunner is and always was a lame move.

How about the first time Austin gave Vince the stunner. Vince was laying on the mat convulsing, lol

There's no good answer to this question, because the Stunner is and always was a lame move. Um, no. As finishers go it's probably one of the best especially when Austin would hit it out of nowhere. It's one of a few finishers where there is no set up.

The Stunner was one of the best finishers in it's prime...
Best Sell: Any Rock Stunner
Triple H's Sells at RR'01 and I liked his sell at NWO '01 as well

It's one of a few finishers where there is no set up. Thus meaning it's one of the few finishers with virtually no drama or ring psychology involved, thus making it boring. It's one of those finishers where, as soon as you stop to deconstruct it and consider it for what actually physically takes place, you end up going, "What...?" I mean, he pulls a guy's forehead into his shoulder? Huh? If it wasn't ridiculously hyped and sold like it was on clearance, nobody would care. Granted, that's true of a large number of finishers, but still...

Besides, it is a move that is suppose to be the random finisher that needs no setting up. Ask one of my friends, he understood the power of the stunner when i did it on him so many years ago. ;D

I'm thinking The Rock @ WM 19. He literally did a handstand and nearly had his feet over the top rope. Yours? yea the one at WM19 versus The Rock was best one..because he really did do a handstand and touched the top rope...so i think that everyone on this thread can say that The Rock knows how to sell the stunner VERY well

I always thought Rock was OTT with the reaction, but you can never forget it! I have a soft spot for Scott Hall's reaction.

The Stunner was always, "Wham!" out as a finisher should be.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWgbBgjE05I&mode=related&search=Heres the one I was talking about earlier with HHH. Thats the absolute best stunner ever. They both jumped but HHH didnt oversell. I use to like Halls selling of the stunner at 18, but now, meh. All he did was obviously wait until Austin hit the ground and then jumped backward. Until you saw Rock do the handstand thing to flip himself over, his reaction didnt seem all forced and stuff. So... HHH in that vid I posted Rock at Wrestlemania 17 HBK at Wrestlemania 14 Orton at Survivor Series 03 Yeah. Those are my favorites...

When Rock had the tv camera and pointed it at Austin and all you saw was middle fingers and then he stunned him while holding the camera. lol
