At this point on Raw, does anyone else think Sandman could make a good IC champ? As far as credible people to take it off of Umaga, maybe he does it in a no DQ match or something. Yeah sure. I once suggested a Sandman/Ummaga old school ECW weapons match, where if done right, either being given the win (and IC belt) would make sense. If Ummaga wins after Sandman threw everything including the kitchen sink at him, its like "wow, he's a tough bastard." If Sandman wins, blood all over his face, lighting a cigarette as he's being put in the ambulance, IC belt in tow, its like.....""wow, he's badass." BUT WHATEVER yeah, I think if WWE continue to play their cards right, Sandman would be a believable IC champion or at least fleshen out the mid-card. shhhhhhh! if they see these obvious good ideas they won't use them.

See! See! Vince we told you that using ECW guys as legit competitors to your guys was a good idea and they could get over! (ex. see: RVD, Sabu, Sandman, AUSTIN, ect.)
I think Sandman could make an ok IC champion. at least he's not getting buried on RAW like we all expected.

Then again, maybe its because of the booze. I mean, he was Austin BEFORE Austin......right? You can also add Dr. David Schultz and Bad News Brown into the mix, and then you got The Texas Rattlesnake. Anyway, if they use Sandman correctly, he can be a good addition to the midcard.

If they merchandise Sandman good he could make alot of money. He sells alot of merchandise WWE will push him.
No watch he will have an identity crisis and won't know if he is Hardcore Hak or The Sandman

Did anyone notice that he wasn't spitting the beer last night?
Maybe he was really thirsty...

Sandman can't go anywhere though. This is the highest level I see Sandman getting and it is about right.

Sandman and Sid tag team=Instant overness.
No seriously sandman drinks beer, enters through the crowd, and canes people.
that's so cool, plus he's just a likeable personality, like your uncle who drinks beer and likes to fight.

I'm just shocked of how damn over he is....considering he was stuck doing nothing at ECW for a good year. But I'm glad for him. Who knows, maybe in the IC title division with Ummaga, Carlito, Jeff Hardy......Sandman wins the belt and spills beer on it.

Speaking as someone who never even really watched the old ECW, Sandmans antics are pretty fun. He could get far with it, but I'm not sure how his body would hold up.

Besides, with his wrestling brawling style, it won't hurt him as much as say a leg injury would do for the Hardys or whatever.

"Why do you drink BEFORE the match?" It seems drunk people really love to get into fights and also if you're loopy, you don't feel as much pain - the sedation effect. Maybe if he tapped a keg beforehand, he could legitimately no sell moves. I don't know. I guess that's just how I would explain it.

I mark for Sandman. I am loving this feud with Carlito, finally the WWE is doing an interesting midcard feud.
