I love how people don't get my sarcasm about Lawler's total ignorance of Kurt Angle.
It's not like Angle is CHRIS BENOIT, who went to his home planet after not beating Sid for the WCW Heavyweight Title.
LOL, I'll also pretend that girl said 18...

They say this Cena character has wrestled but I am still not convinced. Until I see physical evidence to prove the case, I remain skeptical that Cena has ever wrestled, that I can recall.

Shelton Benjamin is/was a better amateur than Lesnar and Lashley. I believe Lesnar was more accomplished. Four time all american, 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Champ. Shelton was a two time all american, both probably could have pursued an Olympic career if they had wanted to. Lesnar may have technically done more than Shelton, but during sparring sessions, training (?), whatever...Benjamin used to totally pwn Brock.

Oh, c'mon, it was the usual "can Cena get through this too?" line. It wasn't meant as a serious statement.
It comes from the same mould of
"I've never seen the Undertaker being manhandled like this" [happened with at least 10 Monsters]
"Can anybody stop ____?"
and the most obvious
"It's the greatest night in the history of our sport/business"
Don't stress about it

Cena won't be recognized for his success until he is gone for a bit. An injury is almost a certainty. He is a pro wrestler at the main event level. It happened to HHH, Angle, Edge, Flair, HBK, Brett, Eddie, Benoit, Sid, Nash, Hogan we could go on and on but the fact remains it will happen and when it does how will we react? Will we be happy? Will we recognize that his run was a success?

dude have you seen Lashley's NCAA/Army matches? the guy is insane, even during GAB there was a part in there match where Lashley used real wrestling moves and just manhandled Cena... Lesnar was also a great NCAA wrestler (don't know if he ever wrestled Cena) Lashley is pretty beast Cena and Lesnar wrestled at Backlash 2003 in Worcester. I was there.

"Your finisher's the F5? Well, mine's the F-You!" Pretty good match came out of that, actually. Think it was Judgment Day 2003. It was Backlash 03, and bah gawd, it is a lone spot of light of otherwise a bad card. Hey, the Dudleys vs Kane and RVD match was pretty damn good as well. But the Cena Lesnar feud was nice. It lasted more than a month, with Cena taking shots at Lesnar while Lesnar was feuding with Angle.

So what? According to JR, he never recalled Bobby Lashley and King Booker wrestling in the same ring.
I guess he missed that entire feud for the King of the Ring. Or perhaps the one with the World Title. Or maybe the U.S. title.
Also, what Loki said is basically the extent of what Lawler meant.

I'll just assume that JR doesn't watch Smackdown and just leave it at that.
